Oh, I love the glitters. The livein says I had to have been a show girl in a past life. I think it had to do with me explaining to him how to glue glitter to his face.

I look at it like art. I have tattoos too but none on my face because I know I would just want to change it in a few days. I have a picture I did of the all seeing eye on my face that I love love love. I have redone it on about nine different girls and they were just batty about it. I don't know why more people don't play with makeup...its so fun.

My Master prefers very little make-up: no foundation, concealer, blush or lipstick.
Tasteful eye make-up is allowed.

Confession: I do miss lipstick. (small pout).

You said you were looking for tutorials and this is one I found that I like.
It is not garish despite all the color she uses and can be as toned down, or bright as you wish.
I skip steps and it looks great and does not take long.

Since you said you wanted tutorials I like her.
She is fun to watch and just loves to play with makeup... does every kind of look imaginable.

Here is her youtube page:

http://www.youtube.com/user/panacea81

She has her own line but is happy to use and promote other products which I like and welcomes input and questions.

Edit: spelling/clarity

I use make-up out of necessity creme foundation over what's still left of my facial shadow + liquid foundation to blend my whole face together + translucent powder to set it all (I don't like doing all this, but still can't get a completely clean shave T.T). Everything else I go for a natural look pink/rose lipstick/blush brown/teal eyeshadow to go with my hazel eyes (had been using purple thinking of switching though). I don't try to go too heavy on the eye liner/mascara; don't use fake lashes/don't do anything crazy with my eyebrows. Granted, I kind of settled on all of this messing around on myself and looking up stuff so I'm probably doing it all wrong : p

And as far as the term "make-up", what are we making up for?

Myself!

I'm a girly girl! I have fun with make up, clothes, hair, nails, you name it. I've worked so hard to get my body in the shape it's in, now I get to decorate it.

I love your answer!! Go NV, go NV!!

It is being controlled for me which is erotic and I've been lucky enough to have a few boyfriend who want to control that. So for me it is erotic if someone say no make up or they say XYZ make up - the control is the sexy thing, not the result of it. The compliance is the erotic act. I was once made up professionally - he took me, he alone spoke to the lady who was to do it and I was passive and compliant, very sexy.

Have you ever thought about using an epilator?

They don't work well on faces unfortunately (mines unusually coarse even for a guy). I have a top end brawn and an epilady neither can reliably pull my beard hairs out; at best, they thin it out a bit. There's also the issue of letting it grow out long enough to even try, which is kind of a no go with my job usually or really desirable : (

I used to pluck most of my beard out with tweezers (while I did other stuff on my computer not in front of a mirror), but between new stuff too low to pluck/under the skin and the sheer logistics it's not really possible to get all of it so I still always had a shadow if at least lighter. Now, I'm getting laser and you can't pluck, epilate, or pretty much anything but shave while you're getting treatments. This last time I had them switch from their yag to their alexandrite laser (they were afraid the later would burn me with how thick my beard was before), and I'm getting much better results so I'm hoping another treatment or two and it won't take much to cover it at all.

I would have suggested the Emjoi, as I have used it on a few different mens faces...but...if you are getting laser *beep beep* never mind. Yay for hair removal

I already can't remember whether I mentioned it, but I loooove 1950's style makeup. Black gel/liquid eyeliner, fake lashes, the works. Yum!

I don't really wear a lot of makeup. If I'm just around the house or working out, I don't even bother, but if I'm going out or to class usually I use a little mineral powder (the only thing I've found that doesn't make my skin freak out), some tinted lip balm/gloss, and maybe a little eyeshadow.

Fortunately, my Dom likes the all-natural/down-to-earth look.

lol well... once you get the equipment then yeah, free to do at home.. I used to go for long walks but that was too hard on my feet, i need a treadmill or other equipment.. and workout shorter but twice a day..

If you wanna do it at home, you can get all kinds of exercise gear on craigslist for pretty cheap. A lot of people buy brand new treadmills, weight sets etc when they want to get fit and then give up after a few months and sell them.

Or you can get some aerobics videos and work out in front of your TV if you have room. That's what my mom does and she looks like 10 years younger than she is.

I don't have someone to dress or make up for but my thoughts on wearing makeup, which I seldom do any more is:
The best makeup in the world is a genuine smile and a sparkle in the eyes that says I'm happy to see you.

i rarely wear makeup, and when i do it's never foundation. i'll wear liner and mascarra mostly when i do wear some, but i like to make an effort for my playmate or when i'm going out somewhere nice.

i hate the trend for looking orange with a ton of foundation on. i want to go up to these girls and wash their faces just so i can see what they look like. when i go out i like to feel different to my everyday self, and like i've really made an effort. so wearing heavy makeup all the time would diminish that for me.

as for being told what to wear.....he can freely suggest, ask or whatever, but ultimately i'll do what suits me best. i do want to please him and so have let him put me in things, and i will continue to do so.

I wouldn't let him near my eyes with a mascara wand. I want it on the lashes, not in the eye.

HA... so true.  Men and makeup don't mix well... DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU!!!  LOL

I agree! I think it's because they have no idea about cold or warm skin tones or actual colours. That's what I do love about Everyday Minerals - lots of shades & textures and they offer free samples to help you figure out which 1 suits.
