Thinking about buying an Android tablet. Any recommendations Make, Model if I buy an older one can I update the firmware or am I stuck with it? I saw one being offer for 50 bucks but it was a 7 inch screen and had android 3.5, I know they have android 4 now. I'm a PC man not a tablet fan, this is more something for me to explore with and to jump on the band wagon

ok for 50 $ there is some brand (which is made in chaina) but the screen is to damn hard... its not that touch type like apple or samsung. I would recommend something for you. but you have to give me some basics to build on like (how much you are willing to pay, & what size of screen you like) on the other hand.. I would recommend (android only) 1- Asus.. Transformers Prime.. which is the FUCKING king of all taplets. 2- motorola xoom. 3- Samsung Glaxy Tap.. they have screens from 7-10 you pick what you want..(put samsung at the bottom of your list) about the Android 4.0 (ICS= Ice Cream Sandwish) Asus & motorola would give ya an update.. but samsung would not.... at least you may have an update or 2 at the most. I have Galaxy S (phone) which is stuck on 2.3.3 but thanks to (XDA developers) now i am running ICS on my phone (cocked room). before even Samsung got thinking of building a ICS room for that phone. - with asus transformer prime & if you want a phone that from ASUS .. you can get.. a phone & taplet & laptop something like this which is waaaay super cool [image]http://img.ibtimes.com/www/data/images/full/2011/11/09/187526-asus-transformer-prime.jpg[/image] if i have the money I would buy one yesterday.. [8D] if you are intersted in Apple Ipad III... you would have unlimited update.. maybe 3-4 or even 5 but they would die after some years... like my old Iphone 2G[&o] which is stuck on IOS 3.1.3 & yahoo messenger dont work on that .. IOS 4.0 & more.. if you have any other questions.... donr be shy [8D] want any pepsi? [:D]
