That about sums up your 11 page little rant of carrying your BFF Nicky-Boi's water.

When you've come anywhere close to matching his accomplishments, do post and let us know.

Again, since you're so CERTAIN of your BFF Nicky-Numb-Nuts' theory, then empty your bank account and head off to Wal-Mart tomorrow on your job-boosting spending-spree -- and be sure to encourage your friends, family, and neighbors to do the same.  We'll then examine the unemployment numbers next month to see who was right.

Again, I've already created half a dozen jobs this summer.

Let us know when you accomplish something.

And yet... that's NOT what YOU have been blathering on about is it -- how disappointed will your BFF Nicky-Idiot be to know that YOU are not following his asinine plan?!!  Obviously you must not TRULY believe in your BFF's "model" if you're not willing to do EXACTLY what he's suggested -- and what you've been ranting about for some 11 pages, hmmm?!!

If you'd like to talk about the OP finally, instead of diverging into a rant about capital gains taxes, that'd be great.

If you'd like to continuing cutting taxes and pretending it's creating jobs, when it clearly isn't, seems that's the "asinine plan."

Keep doing what doesn't work. And when people bring it up, attack.

Let us know when you actually accomplish something.

How about YOU put up or shut up?

Quit telling others what to do with their bank account and you just send your paycheck to Exxon and Monsanto and the Koch Bros., as you keep screaming that the government should continue to do. Those 'job creators' and all.

Your wacky world has it that the US Treasury siphoning by the corporations equates to 'job creation,' just like those corporation's financed 'think tanks' tell us we are supposed to think. Targeted to suckers such as yourself, and by this and all other accounts, quite successful in that venture.

I've been "talking about the OP", and have repeatedly stated it won't work -- and why it won't work.

quote:

If you'd like to continuing cutting taxes...

Nobody is "cutting taxes" at the moment -- many, on the Lib side of the fence, however, are advocating RAISING taxes.  I continue to maintain that's a BAD idea, whether it's Income taxes, Capital Gains taxes, or whatever.

quote:

Keep doing what doesn't work.

The only thing that "doesn't work" is the current ass-hat in the Oval Office and his policies.  If Mittens gets elected this November, and actually DOES what he's said he'll do, then you'll see things turn around.  Shit... I think things would dramatically take a turn for the better if O'Fuckup's Healthcare Bill is shot down by the SCOTUS -- as that'll remove the albatross from the neck of many businesses.

And again, since YOU are soooooooooo CERTAIN about your BFF Nicky-Idiot's plan, DO LET US KNOW WHEN YOU'RE READY TO PUT YOUR MONEY WHERE YOUR MOUTH IS.  Nice that you're building a house and all... but that's an INVESTMENT -- now go CONSUME, just as your BFF has ordered you to do.

Yeah... I didn't think you'd actually do what YOU are advocating others do.  Shocking... yet another Lib who preaches about others spending THEIR money, but no-no-no... YOU are  EXEMPT from following your OWN advice to others.  Actually, it's not a shocker at all -- just more of the same.  Tsk Tsk Tsk.. what will your BFF Nicky-Boi think?!!

I've obviously "accomplished" more than YOU -- else you wouldn't insecurely keep repeating that silly little line.  But if it helps you sleep at night, so be it.   Funny how you'll do EVERYTHING but exactly that which YOU keep advocating OTHERS do?!!   LOL

Try and find a broker that will handle your order for a single share of GE (even if one will do it they'll charge you more than $19 in add on charges).

eTrade = $9.99 per trade -- and one would likely buy more than ONE share.  Are you seriously THIS ignorant about trading stocks?!!

So that one share of GE will cost you, the etrade way, $529.99 ($19 for the stock, 9.99 commission and $500 to open an account). Do you not know anything about stock trading?

Few people can make their entire living on capital gains, and so they can't pay the 15% on that income across the board

Oh, so NOW that you've realized that ANYONE can benefit from the 15% Capital Gains rate (just as I've stated repeatedly), suddenly THAT'S NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR YOU -- NOW your issue is everyone MUST make "their entire living" off Capital Gains?!!  Fuck, make up your mind already?!!

One again, the lower Capital Gains rate is to ENCOURAGE INVESTMENT... sorry if that upsets your apple-cart, but in order to ENCOURAGE INVESTMENT, there has to be some INCENTIVE -- the lower 15% Cap Gains tax rate is exactly that incentive.  And BTW... nobody is stopping you from making your living "entirely" off investments but YOU.  Learn to be a better investor and you'll be able to do just that.  It's not my thing... but again, nobody is stopping YOU from doing it.

Nonsense. Those with the wealth to invest will invest the money because there is no other way to have cash make more cash.

Oh my GAWD... clearly you know absolutely NOTHING about trading, let alone BANKING!!!  Pssst... as much of a shock as this might be for you, ummm... you do realize the $500 goes into a BANK ACCOUNT... to FUND any trades you might want to make... and that you DON'T have to spend ALL $500 right?!!  Have you always been this completely ignorant about finance?!!
