Status: offline 		Following suit in posting interesting conundrums, I ran across this:

* seeking the One that will take ownership of me

* need proper training by a firm but kind Master

* seeking a 24/7 relationship

* Hard limits include . . . bodily fluids

Am I to understand she is seeking a committed relationship like the 24/7 ownership of a Master but he can't cum in her? She is a nurse so I presume there is no confusion about what bodily fluids are?

Do any of you have a committed relationship that excludes fluid exchange? Yes, I know what condoms are but have trouble seeing how they fit in a committed relationship.

Status: offline 		My thought is that it may be a limit until such time as a blood work panel can be done to ensure the bodily fluids won't transmit any disease.  I do the same thing.  I don't commit to anyone until I know that being fluid bonded with them won't give Me any gifts that keep on giving.

My own perspective on body fluids is rather conflicted now days. I mean, I love body fluid exchange. Even being able to prick somebody and taste their blood. But....

I had a very close call with somebody (Thankful, I turned them down) which really had HIV, dispite the fact they were passing it off as hepatitis. The hepatitis factor alone a bit of a concern. I found out later on that she really had HIV by a number of people which knew her well. This experience happened a few years ago. Sort of left me stunned.

This last weekend, I was out with a close female submissive friend here from town. We've known each other a long time now. however, I've been extremely well contained at keeping things purely none sexual between us. She has hepatitis B, so this puts a damper on a couple of things. Mainly because of her shelf life (how much time she has left to live) and it throws a wrench into having to be careful with body fluids. Such as blood. She's also in the nursing profession (kind of ironic). The thing is that she's always been straight up with me about a lot things. Anyways, her and I ended talking about about this last weekend - mainly because we were a little tanked up drinking together and the sexual tensions started to rise up (like they do from time to time). She's an amazing girl, and we get a long extremely well. Still... things are what they are.

So...in my book now days.

If somebody expresses body fluids as a limit... I think it's something to take seriously and to think about. It's not even a limit I'm wanting to cross over without knowing "Why" and most importantly "what"....

Other than this, I suppose she could just be plain squicked out over body fluids and be weird like Howard Hughes about it. lol

Thanks, RS.  I'm a bit curious now as well.

Oddly enough, this same subject (bodily fluids and safety) came up last night when I was doing some negotiating with a couple.  They had wanted Me to help them do some needle work and there always comes the time that you have to ask "that question".  Even though I always play with needles with the same precautions, I still want to know beforehand if there is information that might want to make Me think twice to agree to do the scene.

We just know so much more now.  If we don't use that education, what good does it do us?

Status: offline 		I'd say for about the first year or so when we were dating there was no fluid exchange with us but after that year we just shucked it all since we were both tested and neither of us had any interest in being with anyone else.

I'm going to assume the girl is married and considers a Master more in the play/fuckbuddy type but without the fucking.

Or she's used to nonmonogamous types and doesn't trust that he'll always use condoms and dental dams with others. It doesn't matter if she's monogamous with him and they test clean if he's going to have sex with others the next day. And yes, I include oral as sex but lots of people who use condoms for vaginal and anal won't use protection for oral, getting or giving. As a nurse, she would know better than most that that's not acceptable.

Being she is a nurse, I presume an aspect of LTR would include testing. However, you have a good point. The 'no body fluids' may be her way of discretely saying she is contagious.

Considering every male dom profile you read seems to say he wants a harem, she may assume that monogamy doesn't exist in bdsm.

There could be a lot of explanations. For example, she could be on migraine medication, which prevents her from being able to use birth control pills. That is one of a bunch of stuff I can imagine, so I see nothing inherently wrong with what she writes.

Only in about %1 of cases is Hep B fatal.
