Some subs do ask for money. Do they say things like "I'll want your money before you hit me" not often....but...I have bailed more than one sub out of jail. Helped more than one pay rent if it was behind. Made a couple car payments as well as payments for college. I have bought them gifts on things like birthdays but also for no reason other than I can and they will take them. They are also often a lot more emotionaly manipulative about getting what they want then people that pay pros are. I think if I really wanted to hurt someone and couldn't find someone that would just let me I would be happy to deal with one I had to pay rather than one that wants to use love, sex, guilt, etc. against me.Peronal opinion here but anyone that can't figure out that everyone does everything because they want something really should get out of all of this, become a hermit, and just deal with the fact that people (as a whole) suck.

You know, seriously - not addressing you personally, MIP - I do think people should do the philosophising they need to do, if they're going to enter into D/s in any form. Nothing we've inherited was designed for the idea of giving away power willingly, nor taking it from someone who's offering it. Maybe that's just a long-winded way of saying: you don't get to do D/s and carry on being lazy in the brain.

That depends. Were your mother and father in a relationship where they mutually invested in each other and their future together as a couple, were there for each other, supported each other........ or was your father some random guy who called your mom up when he wanted a booty call then disappeared afterwards?

Most "sub men" want the booty call and to run back to their "real lives" - so yes. They want the sex and benefits for free, without the personal investment.

Very few will actually take the time and effort to establish that mutual supporting relationship.
