Anyone watch the new show on the science channel called Oddities? I absolutely love this show. It could be because I tend to lean to the darker side of things, but this show is awesome.

I've seen it a few times. At first I thought it was funny but quickly got bored with it. I guess for me, I've been in lots and lots of shops like that so none of the stuff on it seemed all that odd to me.

See, that's why I hate being in Memphis sometimes. All the cool stuff is in other parts of the country. The only thing some of these back wood people would allow is hot topic, ooohhh scary. *rolls eyes*

LOL. I can see that. I've done some traveling and I've been to NYC more times than I can count. I think I've been to every "strange" shop there including the one on Oddities. There's even a really odd antique shop just down the road from me here in Baltimore where he has a mummy, a mummified "mermaid" and all kinds of weird things for sale and on display. It's a fun place to go to just to walk around for the day. lol

Dammit!! Stupid country back woods place! Okay, I'm better now. I would be a kid in a candy store. I want to go see some of the more gothic clothes boutiques. The coolest one we have (other than Hot Topic) is Crazy Beautiful. It is awesome but becoming a bit mainstream as well. Either that or maybe all the regular normal people are finding out it sucks to be cookie cutter. *sighs*
