Where I come from, CRC stands for the Chemical Rubber Company, publishers of the CRC handbooks for techies. What's it mean when you use it?

(Steven, i remember the CRC handbook - i used the log tables in it.)

The currency of Costa Rica is the Colon (₡ with 2 slashes). Maybe the CRC is a signal that this member is a pro - like the members who put a $ sign in their names.

I found loads of CRCs. Chicago Rabbinical Council, Christian Reformed Church and Cyclic Redundancy Check being a small few.
