By conventional means - Warsaw, Poland to Irkutsk (Siberia) - 3,333 miles (5,362.8km) by train which took days spent sharing a sleeping compartment with some crazy Mongolians. Hitch hiking - Glasgow in Scotland to Lodz, in Poland 1,362 miles (2,192km) in just under 36 hours non-stop. However I have also hitched from Lodz in Poland to London (839 miles or 1,349km) in just over 13 hours which in the years I spent hitch hiking is my personal record.

I used google maps to get the mileage to Okinawa and the directions, which include kayaking, were quite amusing. Who else has mapped walking to Mordor from the Shire? [image]local://upfiles/1052865/B7B1D30CA21546418DE90D8A4DE84EC7.jpg[/image]

Lessee... Longest flight was San Diego to Boston with a drive to Biddeford, ME. Longest drive was a multi-week trip through the southwest; it racked up about 3500 miles. I've not been off the continent, but my total air miles are about 180,000, almost all for business.
