UK Huh?
Well at least you're not dead. Like a lot of the new votes republicans are hoping to "dig up" before November.

Bullshit.

The anti-vaccination brigade is not lead by conservatives.

She's talking about funding for vaccinations around the globe. And yes, conservatives since Reagan have been after that--in fact, we'd virtually wiped out TB when Reagan decided to cut funding to finish the job.

Actually there are prominent anti vaxers on the right and left. The rightists usually approach it either as a religious liberty question or a libertarian "keep government from making decisions for me" position. There are also the lunatic right wing conspiarcy mavens like Alex Jones.

That you're not very experienced in giving blow jobs. If you want to suck the great spiritual leader off properly you need to center yourself and scoot over to the right a little.

There ya go... now you can be one with the holy staff.

Most points won't deserve a comment, but maybe this one: The "socialist" part of the NSDAP policy was a bait nobody but a few absolute simpletons took.

Those who dared to demand openly something more "socialist" after 1933 like Strasser got themselves a bullet or a ticket to Dachau.

These - as usual - are not matters of "belief" but historical facts.

Where does this leave me?  I consider myself "Independent".  I vote my conscience, the one I believe is best for the job, be he a Republican or Democrate.  If there is something that I think will work and benefit everyone, I am for it, no matter from who it came from.

I agree.

This is the healthy point of view.

Someone may have already asked this question, BUT:

Before minimum wage, workers were barely paid enough to cover basic necessities.

Granted, company profits were through the roof, but the workers were barely surviving.

Of course the Republicans would like to go back to the days when coal miners made a dollar a day and had to buy everything from the company store.

Stern,

That's simply your own biases chasing around in your head.

I think I said in the forums that I would have voted for Hillary before I voted for McCain, last election.

Sweet holds what I consider some pretty "left of center" positions, but she doesn't seem to be an ideologue, and I believe she is right on the pension issue. I also believe that she actually means what she says about voting for the person she thinks is best, regardless of party.

What makes you think I'm an ideologue? Just because I disagree with most of your positions and candidates? We have a very basic difference in concept of what makes the world go 'round, granted, and I vote on the basis of my beliefs. Just as you do. Just as sweet does.

Personally, I think Obama has done some things right. But I also believe that he has done more to hurt than help, on balance, and I do not believe he deserves another four years. So, yeah, I'll probably vote for Romney, even if he wasn't my first choice.

What's wrong with that?
