Arturas -> Dylan Ratigan identifies the cause of our economic issues today on his MSNBC show. (6/1/2012 2:07:29 PM)

I turn on MSNBC one or two times a day during breaks in my work to kinda guage the meltdown level. It has been progressive (no pun intended) since two months ago when the Supreme Court took up Obamacare and made it clear where they were going with ti.

Today, I was totally amazed to see Clinton throw Obama under the bus by saying Romney's background in business is a good thing and makes him qualified for the Presidency and then I see Dylan Ratigan of MSNBC, on his show, forcefully blame the Democrats for the Housing bubble and then blamed that for the ecomomic woes and then those economic woes for unemployment and then continued by saying Democrates cannot deal with the housing bubble correctly without admitting they were the cause and that is why America's economy cannot recover until that changes. (translation, Romney wins, Obama under the buss as well as the extreme left in the party.

Is this just a bad day in Progressive Land or is this a sign that many see the writing on the wall and are distancing themselves from the extreme left led by the likes of Barney Frank in the past and now Obama and Pelosi in current times? Are we seeing the start of an expulsion of the extreme left from the centralist party Clinton believes in and led when he was President and hopes will be led by a Hillary ticket in 2016?

Extreme left?

If Clinton is throwing Obama under the bus, why did he say this? http://www.ketknbc.com/news/bill-clinton-predicts-obama-win-on-thursday

Is there some possibility you could back up what you say?

Yaknow, links, verifiable data. Face it, based on your track record, if you were to claim it's daylight, people on here will look out the window first.

Former President Clinton on Thursday night became the latest surrogate for President Obama to stray from campaign talking points, saying GOP nominee Mitt Romney's business experience "crosses the qualification threshold."

In an interview on the Piers Morgan show on CNN, Clinton said the Obama campaign shouldn't spend its energy criticizing Romney's work at Bain Capital, an argument that has taken center stage in the debate over which candidate can better lead the U.S. economy.

"I don't think we ought to get into the position where we say, 'This is bad work. This is good work,' " Clinton told guest host Harvey Weinstein, a staunch Obama supporter who has helped raise millions of dollars for the president's reelection campaign.

"There's no question that in terms of getting up and going to the office and basically performing the essential functions of the office, a man who has been governor and had a sterling business career crosses the qualification threshold," he said.

Earlier this month, Obama’s team launched an aggressive campaign against Romney’s tenure as the head of investment firm Bain Capital, which the GOP contender touts as preparing him to manage the nation’s economy.

In a series of ads, the campaign ripped Romney for shuttering businesses including a steel mill and paper plant, claiming he prioritized maximizing investor profit over protecting jobs, laying off hundreds of people in the process.

Clinton's comments come on the heels of remarks by other Obama surrogates, who have said that the president's team shouldn't focus on Bain. Two weeks ago Newark, N.J., Mayor Cory Booker said the campaign's attacks on Bain were "nauseating." Former Obama auto czar Steve Rattner also recently called the campaign's ads against Bain "unfair." Both Booker and Rattner have since walked back their original statements.

Seems to me Clinton is being Clinton, playing on both sides of the fence... IMO He's not much of an Obama fan, but still a staunch Democrat

This is ridiculous. It's bad enough how partisan things have gotten, but for people to say that Clinton's statement is a repudiation of Obama and endorsement of Romney is preposterous.

Clinton endorsed Obama, and then said that Romney's pretty good too.

That kind of mindset is formed by someone who had to work with members of the opposite party, way back when that was considered a virtue instead of an original sin.

FR
Clinton has also said Gingrich is a smart man. He smiles when he says things like that. Clinton extended his hand across the aisle frequently
as President and he's never been as nasty about people S they
have been about him.
Of course he supports Obama, he's campaigning for him.
The Clintons have proven that whatever their personal
ambitions were they are loyal Democrats. Hilarey Clinton
will never run for the presidency again.
Obama is not on the far left. He is a moderate who could only
look far left to someone on the far right.
There's nothing surprising about Rattigan putting
the blame on the housing bubble on the Democrats.
He isn't a Democrat he just has a show on MSNBC.
I understand this is confusing to Fox viewers.

The relationship between Clintons and Obama is interesting to speculate around. At first, I think, giving Hilary Clinton Secretary of State (she is absolutely not qualified for) job was a compromise between Obama and Clintons in exchange for support. Secondly, if Clintons want to get back into White House 2016 they need Obama to loose. It is clear to everybody nobody will support the Democrats after eight Obama years (assuming there still are the elections held 2016).
After Romney the Democrats once again could pose as saviors. Bill Clinton is still very influential behind the scenes figure. He does not represent the Democrats though. He was a corporate/globalist president, the Democrats base traditionally has been workers.

It is conceivable the Clintons would sabotage Obama's reelection. There were rumors they did not do all they could do to help Gore get elected in 2000. Rumors, too, of Bill searching the Constitution for a way to a third term. Those two are just in it for the power.

Possibly... part of me still thinks O'Fuckup may announce Hillary will be his new VP running-mate.  Politically, that'd be the SMART thing to do.
