We put our princess down today. Binxie fought a hard battle... and the time arrived that she could not fight anymore. We were both there, both touching, talking, kissing as the vet pushed the meds. We said our good byes, slipped out the back door, and we fell apart. But she is at peace... and I feel she is still with us.

This brings me to the part about the poem. Someone posted a poem about how a cat is still with its owner despite its demise. I thought I had saved it and wanted to tuck it with her ashes, but I cannot find it anywhere.

If anyone should have that poem, I would be so grateful if you would post it.. either here or my cmail.

Thank you in advance.

tazz,  I'm so sorry.  But Binxie held on for a good while and she passed knowing how much she was loved and cared for.  I read recently how cats have emotions much like humans, so I'm sure she knew.  I'm glad you found your poem.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Cats are so special. I lost my Misty who was 14 in November.

Sending hugs. xo

Ya, I didn't click on any of the poems in my link as I knew I'd cry.
