Just wondering if anyone here has used the cotton and copper woven rope that is designed to conduct electricity and used with a violet wand.

If you have used it, how well did it work and where did you use it?

Sir

The problem I see with some sort of rope designed to use with a violet wand is that the sensations of a violet wand are made when the conducting material is just above the skin, not touching the skin. There is no sensation when the item actually touches the skin. If you use the rope for bondage, there are no sensations made as it is touching the skin.

No. Don't do it.

Unless you have a very good knowledge of how electrical fields work, I see nothing but disaster. I have made a post or two about electrocution here before.

I am not a doctor or any other kind of medical professional. I am, however, an electrical engineer. Without actual specifics of what you intend I am very wary about trying any sort of electrical play without knowing what is going to happen ahead of time.

I can think of a number of bad results. Some of which only require small skin abrasions to cause catastrophic heart or nerve damage.

My ex has used the mylar ones, like the one on this page http://buy.violetwands.net/view.php?v=tools but I have never heard of a cotton and copper one. Not sure how that would work, but it sounds like it might be fun to try.
