Status: offline 		Just a quick set of related questions:
I see lots of hetero pairing out there, so I was wondering how many Mistresses/Dommes/Dominants actually "go" for female subs?  Is it only a sexual orientation thing if you do?  Is it ever simply your kink to dominate/play with women as opposed to men?  Is it aesthetics?  How many of you prefer bisexual situations or make a persons sex (as opposed to "gender" since that can be self-defined) a non-issue?

Obviously, there are lots of crayon colors in the Big Box, but I'm asking about trends in the community.

I'm actually more than openminded at having female submissives and slaves as part of my household -- sadly because for me Domination is not a purely sexual or kink based thing I have not found much interest among the females. As for my sexuality, I am bi-curious, and do plan in the future of exploring this a little further, but I would not use this as a criteria to accept a female into my service. The same standards would apply to her as to any male under my control: willingness, openmindedness and sincerity. And the only goal is as in males: she would be owned and controlled completely after some time of training and serving.

Status: offline 		Have pretty always viewed submission as transcending gender...whether they are female or male or somewhere inbetween...first and foremost they are a submissive...their gender is relevant only in how I may interact with them.

Status: offline 		I currently do not, but if I ever get to a point where I have plenty of private space, no lil one in the house, and more than 1-2slaves, I would certainly consider one, though not for sexual use by moi.   I tend to see a lot of fem subs who are apparently awesome individuals, but since my sub would be one for intimate relationship as well as service, I rule out female subs.   M

Status: offline 		I'd like to try having a female sub and am in fact seeking one. But the problem seems to be that I already have a male sub and she would need to be bisexual and play with us both. <shrugs>
I'm in no rush and if I find the right woman great, if not thats ok too.

One of the two people we would love to add is a female slave for me who can switch and play a nanny to my husband's adult baby fetish. This would give us two important things: an outlet for his desires and allow me to protect him because he has been hurt before by women's he's played with (usually emotional hurt but also financial manipulations). He has no interest in having a male top for his fetish though he has played with other male adult babies.

As for me, I've liked having another woman in the house. As much as I try not to treat slaves differently based on gender or sex I still live in a society where boys and girls are raised differently and so I find a female slave is more comfortable with some services like going shopping, nail care, non-erotic massages, and a general ear for those 'female things' that come up in life. I see her as my personal assistant.

I'm not sure how appealing this would frankly be to any woman though.

Status: offline 		I don't ever play with women because I have no interest in or attraction to them.  I can appreciate feminine beauty and all that good stuff, but I don't feel comfortable interacting with them.

I can (and do) play with a sub male to whom I don't have a sexual attraction, but with women, I'm 'unattracted' to them.  I have no issues with bisexuality or homosexuality.  Cross dressing/sissies/unclear genders also (coincidentally??) are a big turn off for me.

Status: offline 		Very interesting.  I had no idea so many dominant females would be inclined to consider female submissives. 

On the more narrow-minded side, I have never considered a female as a submissive... I view one who submits to me in an intimate way, with a certain attraction I can only envision having with a male.

I've always felt you marry the person you want to have children with, and you have sex with others. Funny thing is I can't have children, so I married my best friend. We are extreemally compatable and have the same interests. Sex is great, he just happens to be male. Since I have a big enough dick for great penatration, I don't need any more. I have always prefered women. For me it is a asthecits thing. I'm not fond of the male body, and much rather look at a woman naked that a man.

I also like the way women scream and squeel. It's sexy for me.

We occasionally entertain the thought of a play partner. This person would be genetic female, boi,TG or some other genderqueer person. The thought of an average male over the age of 30 does nothing for either of us.
