ya think?

how dumb do you have to be to hurt your partner so bad they are in the hospital and talking to the cops? that's not BDSM, that's just plain old domestic violence with a contract as an excuse.

Wow. This kinda crap gives the lifestyle a bad name. If he beat her and put her in the hospital, then he had no clue what he was doing. The fact that she went to the cops makes it clear that she had either signed under duress or else decided she wanted out.

The rules he had were ridiculous and specific as hell.

Yep... there's no doubt about the "idiot" tag - but I reckon it's "idiots" (plural) in this case

Actually it sounds more like "obscene levels of ignorance" than "excuse to beat wife"
To clarify, the article reads like he might have honestly thought beating his wife was what an S&M relationship was about. The article doesn't mention a history of spousal abuse, just a desperate attempt to keep their marriage going

As for whether or not she signed the contract under duress, dunno and the article doesn't say. So it's entirely possible she went in without a clue as to what she might be getting into

It doesn't actually say what her injuries were. The punishments don't sound all that terrible to me and you could go to hospital with anything really, she might have had a few pink marks or something. The Daily Hate loves to sensationalise things. Sounds like they might have read 50 shades of Grey and got a bit carried away with it. A bit of ignorance on both parts.

Two people just starting out in this ... well he had to have issues before she signed that contract . I like the idea of a contract but he took his punishments above and beyond the call of stupidity .
