OK, something Gage said on the Make a Wish thread made me remember this, and I don't think I've started this thread on collarchat, but I may have. Either way, I've done this on other sites, and it can be kind of fun. Pick a superpower, try not to go too over the top with it or explain the rules for too horribly long. Here's what makes it so fun, though: Describe what you would do with these powers. If you can, try to connect what you do with what the person before you did - either helping or hindering. I want the ability for complete stealth. Invisible and silent. I would use this power to gather information on people for various reasons - finding out what people really think, gearing up for blackmail, free porn, etc.

How's this for a superpower? An old girlfriend of mine was a genius. We and some friends were having dinner at a buffet restaurant, and she came to the table with a clear bowl of ice cream, but there were gummi bears showing plain as day at the bottom. She stuck a straw in the ice-cream and started sucking multiple colors through the straw. I got the respect for scoring a girlfriend that could suck gummi bears through a straw and she never told any of them that it was actually jello hidden in the bowl.

Super powers, huh? That's easy. I'd be able to communicate with any animal. Then we'd team up and start causing trouble for those who are destroying the environment and don't give a shit.
