I don't think Clinton forgot how shabbliy Hillary was treated by the Obama organization during her run. Clinton seems to contradict what Obama says when he pretends to talk "off the record" (but knows there is a reporter within earshot.) Paybacks are a bitch.

Agreed. It was an odd piece, imho. The bulk of it focused on 2008, and the real thrust seemed to be the author's dislike of Bill Clinton. The essay came nowhere near paying off the "Out of Control" headline.

I don't know Politico real well, and I can't say this was an encouraging introduction.

One silver lining: Clinton's criticism of an Obama ad does indicate that, contrary to the view sometimes put forward here on dear old CM, Democrats don't all walk in lockstep.

Politico is a mainstream Democrat leaning News Blog.

But it was one of a score of anti-Clinton/Obama's Clinton problem/Clinton lauds Romney etc etc columns out on the Blogosphere over the last few days.

The White House also doesn't seem very happy with Clinton calling for an extension of the current tax rates; US Already in 'Recession,' Extend Tax Cuts: Bill Clinton

They used to be sighted all the time by cons till they fell from grace..... telling the truth about republicans......

I like Politico quite a bit and go to it regularly... they are a good news source and it is very well written across the board.

But be honest, they lean Democrat. There is nothing wrong with that, that is who they are and how they were founded.

Folks can regard your inability to give us any examples as my response to that bullshit you just said.

They pretty much hit the mark in the middle and don`t favor anyone.Anyone is fair game......good news or bad.

It`s a shame that the right has been marginalizing/trashing them lately......but it doesn`t diminish their street cred.....quite the opposite.
