tbf not for me, but being owned felt wonderful. I hope that one day when I find the right partner it will be again. ;)

Personally, and without wishing to harsh the buzz of anyone who does dig this kinda thing, the very term "ownership" makes me shudder.

I look askance at anyone who just wants to own another human being as opposed to deepening a relationship with the right human being over time to this level.

Frankly, someone who wants this from the getgo isn't someone who should have this, imo.

I don't want that level of responsibility for anyone that I didn't give birth to.

These days I am more into synergy.

No, in actual fact, it is one of the mysteries of bdsm as far as I am concerned.

I have always instinctively felt that I could never 'own' another person, although strangely I demand deep submission akin 'being owned' within my D/s relationship.

There is just something which means for me, the idea, the concept, of saying I 'own' someone which creates unreality in my mind where it should create certainty.

This is an entirely personal qualm and so am fully supportive of those who do 'own' their sub/slave/pet.

I'm pretty sure Master does and I get the same feeling of being owned by him. I'm his property. He likes having me as his property.

Ownership of just any human being? No. Ownership over a specific human being, yes, I feel energized. It takes time, though.

Your thread inspired me to start a different thread. I had trouble answering you without explaining what ownership means to me, because it means something different to a lot of people. That would have derailed your OP. My very long answer in is here:

-=Morals & limits in ownership, M/s, TPE where's the love?=-

My D/s relationships are founded on an ownership dynamic where the girl is essentially my property to do with as I will. So the simple answer to your simple question is "yes".

That said, my "ownership" is totally within the bounds of a committed, monogamous relationship that's also founded on traditional values of mutual friendship, love, care, respect etc. I'm not interested in owning that which I don't deeply care for, FIRST.

Focus.

I can't say I become energize on a feeling of ownership. I am energized by the action of owning!

Even though Human Beings are created to be equal they are however also created to be unique from each other. I can say I would only be energized by owning the right human being(s) for me! Others not so much.

Yeah well, it's either that or, you get a 30 year mortgage and then you're totally fucked.

Better to be cared for and provided for by someone who knows how to treat you like the sub you are, with a lifestyle accustomed to your needs.

(It's what I'm looking for....someone to take care of me in the lifestyle I've become accustomed to).

Fuuuuuck no.

If I were to become a Dom, she better damn well have really incredible medical coverage on me because after I have a fucking heart attack laughing my ass off trying to dominate her, she better damn well be able to cover me medically for the cracked ribs I get from laughing so hard when they haul me off in the ambulance.
