This past weekend me and my other half walked to the store on the way back we heard meowing so we investigated and found an itty bitty kitteh in some bushes next to a building i scooped her up and we toted her home. we fell in love with her tiny orangeness and named her Clementine.

Clem is adjusting quite well has plenty of kitty milk clean litter a big warm bed and warm soft blanky plus two warm bodies to snuggle with.. a hidey spot with blankets and stuffies and all the love she could ever want

awwwww, that is so great.....but now you need one more!!!!! ok, so I finally saw the link for the pics....how ADORABLE!!!!!!!! She is a little one yet......give her a hug and "sqeeeee!" from me and mine!

You've got a great heart to take in the little girl and show her how great her life will be now. My youngest kitteh, Bit, is the last of the litter Mama Cat had, and I was socializing them for homes, but two ended up at Animal Control courtesy of my landlord, but Bit is mine now. He had a rough start, ended up losing an eye, but he fit right in with my other kittehs and is a holy terror!

ANd after I moved, my neighbor friend told me that Mama climbed up into the engine compartment of a van and ended up getting mangled. She's gone now, and I cried like a baby when I found out. She was such a good little kitty.....we still don't know why she was in the engine.....it was 80 degrees outside, so she wasn't cold. I'm thinking maybe she got chased up there by another cat.

Anyway, congrats on the new member of hte family....be prepared to lose all of your control!!!!! You are now one of the "owned"!

no signs of mama cat or any other kittens when we found her.. she was clean didn't smell funky and didn't look like she had been without food so i think she was left there ( if it was a fellow human then shame on them)

i do need more as i'm a crazy cat lady at heart

and i'll make sure to pass on the hugs and squees

aawwwww, so cute! lucky little girl to find a good home instead of ending up in a shelter.

i'm no cat person....a little phobic about them as well as allergic........but how could anyone dump such little ones? she looks like she should still be with mum for a couple of weeks. someone dumped 2 little ones down at my field in the depths of winter one year. they were about 4 weeks old and the only thing that stopped them dying in the cold was a little cave area in my muck heap. anything could have happened to those babies, and i have to wonder about people who have animals but don't care enough to prevent the pregnancies in the first place. to then be so unresponsible and calous towards the resulting babies is dispicable.

i love the name you have given her.

Adorable!

And yes, people dump kittens at our place several times a year. I have yet to ever catch one and save it. They just disappear. Very sad.

awwwww, she is so cute!.. I had Squeek for 16 wonderful years and he was an orphan/abandoned also, he was also the runt of the litter and he was so tiny he fit in my hand (& I dont have big hands)..

Your little one looks like she is settling in really well.. and she has you wrapped around her teeny tiny lil paw already.. Congrats on the addition..

she's settling in very well is now roaming the house and i've found her napping in the kitchen .. was too cute.. walked in there to get a drink and there she was on a towel all curled up and looked up at me all sleepy eyed. i was holding her and answered the door today and she meowed and got scared so an indoor kitty she shall be ( plus less fleas) she sleeps less in our bed and more in her lil cubby i made her. .and we've had to start booting her out the bedroom and shutting the door so we can hump cuz she'll get up on the bed and either attack a hand or foot... the blanket.. or try to walk on us or chew my hair .. earlier tonight she was meowing at the door all sad sounding i can't wait to get her a kitty condo .. and i need to get her some toys as she wants to chase everything that moves . Like all my kitties i had before her she shall be a spoiled princess

and i need to get her some toys as she wants to chase everything that moves .

I had a thickish long cord (stiff but not too stiff) and frayed the end of it to make it look like a pom pom or you could tied something soft on the end too.. then I would stand up in the center of our queen size bed and swing the cord so the end of the cord would lightly drag on the floor, swing it from one side around the bottom of the bed and up the other side, then reverse, and keep doing that.. my cats would chase it like crazy! That was the cheapest toy and the one they loved best..

Faerie, forget spending money on toys......take the plastic ring off the milk jug, or soda bottle, get some ping pong balls, plastic O-rings are fun too. All the toys I bought just sit around in corners, but give 'em a milk ring or something round they can carry in their mouths, and they are happy for hours! Bit lost his O ring, so I have to get some more, he'll throw it around and chase it forever....literally til he drops and falls asleep. In my house, if it can be pushed, rolled or carried off, it's fair game as a toy.

I was watching Bit as he jumped around the other day, and I'm sure it's because of his eye, but he doesn't quite have the grace the others have when he's jumping. He hits what he's aiming for, but instead of the graceful leap, his is more like "flying squirrel".....legs sprawled out straight from his body, sailing thru the air. Sort of looks like he's doing a belly flop. Which is pretty effective for taking out the others when he launches at them.....knocks 'em right on their kitteh butts. Bit, of course, is smart enough to do it as a hit and run. Little terror!

candy wrappers too (or small pieces of paper), rolled up into a ball.. toss across the floor.. just be aware when you put your shoes on.. there might be a kitty spit soggy "ball" hidden in the toes of your shoes..
