Well, I'm not going to go out and buy that book or anything but I must admit, I sorta chuckled, too. Reminds me of what happened with The DaVinci Code.. clever story, horrid book but sales went through the roof once the 'church' got involved!

Just sent the link to a novelist friend so we can brainstorm about how to get him condemned too. Come to think of it, he does have a nonmarital sex scene.

Please note that the Church's stance on same-sex marriage is entirely consistent with the abuse of altar boys because the pederasty takes place between same sex, but outside of marriage.

Yeah, I've not been really impressed with the Church since John Paul II died.
