Owner seems to think what happened 40 + years ago does matter.

A felony (if this is true) would disqualify someone from voting forever, much less running for POTUS. A misdemeanor (like smoking pot) doesnt.

What about coke?

Its only a felony if he was charged and convicted and since his daddy was governor of MI when it happened, a felony charge wasn't going to happen, not even in CA. Daddy gave him the uniform after all. Coke isn't a felony, either.

I wasn't talking about Romney, as far as I know, he didn't admit to "blow" use in his autobiography. And I believe quantity matters in the charge, especially if he was dealing as well as using... I'm not saying he was dealing, mind you, just that we don't know how much "blow" he partook in.

Did you read a Dubya autobiography named Dreams Of My Father? Again, it depends on quantity and intent, and how often the Presi, er the person was busted. If he was selling, especially to kids, it is a felony.

quote:

Cocaine, crack cocaine, coca leaves and all other forms of cocaine are Schedule 2 on the California Uniform Controlled Substances Act.[1] Cocaine is illegal to possess under California Health and Safety Code 11350. Possession under HS 11350 can be prosecuted as a misdemeanor or felony with up to 3 years in prison. In practice, those charged with cocaine possession will in most cases be given an opportunity to plead guilty and receive no jail time under PC 1000, Prop 36, or felony supervised probation. People with prior records and especially those with prior drug possession records will often be given small jails terms such as 30, 90, or 180 days, along with felony probation.

No, I'm talking about Dubya's alleged use that he out and out refused to address when he was running. One theory of why he skipped a flight physical was that was the first time cocaine testing was part of the military physical. He ditched his military physical, went to a civilian physician (who didn't test for drugs) and because of who his daddy was faced no repercussions.

Clearly.....impersonating a law enforcement officer is as disturbing as it is illegal.

I find it hard to believe anyone would excuse this behavior in someone doing this crime today. Not sure anyone would excuse the same ass-hat later in his life......either.

Unless he was a republican.....that is......

I knew when I heard this that the responses would be as embarrassing as the acts themselves and rom`n-bots aren`t disappointing us.

And what? You're lookin' for concurrence as to relevance? I think it just points to the fact that his lack of character development has been life long.

Here's some talking points for though since you were kind enough to respond.... Massachusetts is working it's way back from nearly 50th place in new jobs that we achieved under his gubernatorial leadership.
When, I called the statehouse under his term, I got a call center in INDIA.
That's SOME record as a job creator

Where is it clearly written Mitt even wore the uniform? All we have is second hand testimony, from a third rate writer... If this was a real issue, why hasn't it appeared before now?

Face it Owner, you're grasping for anything to try and discredit the GOP nominee, because your guy is in deep shit... What your doing is no better than what the Birthers do.

Go ahead and post as many As you want, you still look like a partisan fool.

It's a misdemeanor, just like Obama's drug use... Choke on that...

This guy is running for the president of the United States after all.

I`m just totally enjoying seeing conservatives die a little bit inside every time they embarrass themselves defending your loser candidate.

Hey......if the pot the president smoked 40 years ago matters......shouldn`t this matter more?

Or is impersonating a state trooper, illegal use of police lights and detaining people illegally as an adult the same as smoking pot as a teen?

It's like watching that movie "The Talented Mr Ripley" only like in addition to being uglier and a WHOLE LOT DUMMER than Matt Damon... in the end the whole country finds him out and he kills everybody (ie - attacks china)

Ohhhhh no Rob ... you'll find that I just have adopted a new policy of matching my responses to YOUR posts (and a few others) with a MATCHING DEPRECIATED VALUE.
HAHAHAHA... Dinghy hahahaha ... that is like if I said ... Don't you have an 8ball to insert so you can smuggle it into the rent-a-prison?
I get it... you're being humorous.

Yeah, we'll take the second hand word from a "journalist" who is a proven liberal (source), about something he claims someone else saw back in the day. Yet give the President a pass for his cocaine use, even though the President himself admits to using blow in college.

Keep throwing that shit Owner, maybe you'll get lucky enough to have something stick

People are talking about the current GOP nominee, not the chimp, sunshine. Try to keep up.

yea, i know we have chatted about your remorse before.. I was joking, you know.. I dont think much of either Mitts early airhead teenage kid days any more than Obamas.. I dont think that is either here or there, that was 40 or 50 years ago ffs.. Mitt's (& Obama's) political record is imo the one that does matter.. There are negatives with both of them imo.. what voters have to decide is which is the least dangerous.. cuz imo both of them are puppets for banksters and mega-corps.. Happy voting..

eta- sounds like those scary anti-Romney ads of Obamas are working..

This notion that any criticism at all can only ever be based on resentment and jealousy always struck me as pretty absurd when it was limited to overpaid muppets who can't rap bitching about reviewers and bloggers, never mind now it's seriously being used by people* to try to silence criticism of politicians...
WTF? WTFF?
