I have Multiple Chemical Sensitivities, which I refer to as "allergies" in casual conversation, as people can related to allergies, but explaining my neurological, rather than histamine, reactions is a much longer conversation.

Here in the US we're pretty good about making building wheelchair accessible - how's it where you are?

kalikshama, the whole of the uk by law is supposed to be wheelchair friendly and has supposed to have been i thing for about 15 years but you would be suprised at the ways that they get around the law, there is practically nowhere in central london that is wheelchair friendly as they use the fact that most of the places date back to victorian times and before to get out of having to make alterations that make them wheelchair friendly. The train stations, or subways i believe you call them all have stairs and most have no lifts (elevators). I got so fed up with not being able to get out and about other than locally that i actually moved to Scotland where i am now living as the Scots and Scots government are so much more accomadating.

Apologies to anyone who notes the spelling mistake in my last post as i know that some people get on their high horse about things like that, it should have been (accomodating) i have dyslexic fingers sometimes, no offense meant to anyone that is actually dyslexic.
