best bit of advise I can give is this
don't jump in feet first, dip your toes, give them a wiggle, have a swish... hopefully you'll find someone to lead you deeper gently
you take it at YOUR speed. Do not allow yourself to bullied. YOU are valuable, don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
A good Dom/Domme will value you, help you discover what you need, enjoy that process with you. They will thoroughly enjoy watching you struggle between the need for submission and your own natural pride, but they will tell you how proud of you they are when you do well.
as for slavery, its not for everyone, its not a game, its not even a choice, its a state of mind, or perhaps a state of soul is a better description? and don't go taking the first collar offered to you, you need to trust them 100% to do that, you need to feel safe and valued. You need to be truly ready to commit to it, to accept it, to give all control to the person offering it. You have to NEED it.
(and then you'll discover what I did, the collar was there already, you just couldn't 'see' it)
