chatterbox24 -> Playing it out to the end (6/15/2012 10:42:36 AM)

Anyone else got the oppurtunity to do that? Many times we arent allowed to do that, because the person leaves us stranded without the oppurtunity to go thru all the phases needed to be more self aware.

Its pretty great when you get that oppurtunity.

I dont know about others but for me, many times Ive went thru life wondering why i chose a certain path but was unable to identify the reasoning. When you are able to play it to the end , what a strong sense of self one can gift to themselves.

Just posted this to provoke thought.

No one else can tell you why you choose a certain path.  That is something you can figure out only through self reflection and analyzation of those choices.  Of course, there are many who spend so much time trying to figure out their past, they neglect to move forward.

Grasshopper says..... after the end... come the credits... and the outtakes... and the extra bonus material.... more popcorn anyone?

What is 'it'?

~ Iggy Kant, Immanual's lesser known twin

mnottertail -> RE: Playing it out to the end (6/15/2012 1:56:17 PM)

are you who I think you are from way back?

Who, me? Or the OP?

Goddammit, I need a programme!

amaidiamond -> RE: Playing it out to the end (6/15/2012 2:01:43 PM)

I never spent too much time dwelling on the ending, I just live in the now and enjoy the moment and just have a sense of wonder about the eventual destination...

mnottertail -> RE: Playing it out to the end (6/15/2012 2:03:33 PM)

you and you are not from the way way back just the way back.  so it goes no further than the one I know (he was a yank and we used to make up Kant family quotes)

Fred Kant
Albert Kant
anybody but Immie, usually.

RemoteUser -> RE: Playing it out to the end (6/15/2012 2:05:29 PM)

Kant say, but probably not.

I am from the wayback though. Just hang a left at the sun and accelerate.

mnottertail -> RE: Playing it out to the end (6/15/2012 2:11:16 PM)

Thats what Aloisius Kant always used to say.

Karmastic -> RE: Playing it out to the end (6/15/2012 3:33:52 PM)

fr-

CB, i confess, i'm not sure what you're asking. i always try to play things out to their natural end. i'm sure you know that in relationships, one or the other may end it before the other feels it has taken it's course. translation = one didn't want it to end.

lucky(?) for me i can say that's only happened to me once in a LTR.

Are you talking about when those Big Fluffy Rings of smoking closure are blown out a hot pipe and right up the ass?

littlewonder -> RE: Playing it out to the end (6/15/2012 3:53:19 PM)

I'm confused....ending to what??

Delilya -> RE: Playing it out to the end (6/15/2012 9:12:56 PM)

This is the end
Beautiful friend
This is the end
My only friend, the end
It hurts to set you free
But you'll never follow me
The end of laughter and soft lies
The end of nights we tried to die
This is the end

artemiss -> RE: Playing it out to the end (6/16/2012 12:19:44 AM)

Not trying to sound like some college philosophy student, but the only "end" is death.  If someone else said that already, my apologies.

kitkat105 -> RE: Playing it out to the end (6/16/2012 12:51:01 AM)

Life or whatever "it" is, is purely what you make of it. It's all choices, decisions, repercussions.

Yes this! hahahaha.

Unrequisted love does not have to be sad, it can be quite an eye opener in the end.

littlewonder -> RE: Playing it out to the end (6/17/2012 11:21:16 AM)

Ok...so we're talking about unrequited love? Can't say I ever had that happen to me. If someone wasn't on the same page as me I tended to just get over it and move on way before the love thing ever came into play.

I recommend that when people find closure necessary, they seek it through a therapist, otherwise it will be yet another incident of your unrequited love not giving you what you need.

This.

If someone doesn't care equally or more for me than I believe I do for them, it's worthless to me. I can fairly easily turn and walk away. I don't waste time on futility.

The reality, if my love isn't returned, it kills anything I might feel for them. Their love for me fuels my love for them.

I can't say I've much experience with this aside from puppy love when I was a teen.
