Might work to get republicans to vote for him but I`m not sure it`ll help with swing voters.

I predict it`ll be an Israeli official that`ll tell Mitt to STFU.

subrob1967 -> RE: Warmonger Mitt...... (6/16/2012 1:50:01 PM)

The anti war swing voters who will flock to Obama despite Libya, Yemen and Syria... Those swing voters?

bwahahahahahahaha you're killing me with the comedic analysis.

mnottertail -> RE: Warmonger Mitt...... (6/16/2012 1:54:38 PM)

And so will most Jewish Americans......despite the GOPs "support" of Israel.

How could that be?(hint...cons don`t have the mental tools to fathom why)

Want to see gas prices hit ten bucks and more.....?

Vote for the severe conservative.

"You look at his policies with regards to Iran," Romney continued. "He's almost sounded like he's more frightened that Israel might take military action than he's concerned that Iran might become nuclear."

I think, if that assessment is true, it could be because Iran is actually several years away from a nuclear weapon. In fact, Iran has been denying wanting to build a nuclear weapon and I seem to remember reading on this very forum, though can not find the thread, that a top Israeli official agrees Iran is not doing so. On the other hand, Israel, with USA backing, seems to be on the road to preemptive war with Iran.

Swing voters... don't they show up to the polls in little yellow buses?

I don't get how people can be as uninformed as they are, especially in this day and age. Even if you're like me, and don't watch the American news (because of the fact that it's more entertainment than information based.), there's so much information on everyone's records. Once people did the research, they'd find out how much alike both parties are.

I know, I know...I sound like a stereotypical third-party voter, but there's a reason for stereotypes.

vincentML -> RE: Warmonger Mitt...... (6/16/2012 4:34:40 PM)

Romney's foreign policy team is heavily populated by neocon left overs from W's days. Expect no less. the shadow of Darth Cheney hovers still.

Can you provide a link that verifies your claim?

Swing voters are independents (libertarian generally) that determine the outcome. If you want to assume you are better then them ... defend it.

Actually, I am a Libertarian (not a fake "tea party" one). This is just based on my observations. Most of the swing voters I've met, mostly near where I live, are some of the most uninformed (by choice) voters I have ever seen. I take the recent primary in my area on Tuesday as an example. There was a man on the Democratic ballot that had withdrawn from the race a month ago, but was still on the ballot. Thanks to the uninformed voters, the 7th Congressional District democratic results have to go to court. This is because, if the results stand there is a nominee for the Democratic side, if they don't there is a run-off. Again, uninformed voters mucking up the process.

I just notice, every election cycle, the swing voters seem to be the most uninformed. Again, it's just an observation of mine. Yes, I come down hard on people who don't care about politics, because this is the future of our freedoms at stake. It's just like people don't care.

Winterapple -> RE: Warmonger Mitt...... (6/16/2012 6:24:01 PM)

I doubt the swing voters who are still undecided at this point are thinking about
Israel and Iran or either candidates position
on them.
They are mulling over the important stuff.
Like which candidate they'd like to have a
beer with or who dresses better Mrs Obama
or Mrs Romney.

Fellow -> RE: Warmonger Mitt...... (6/17/2012 4:53:35 AM)

Romney is lying. He should be well aware that one of the basic war scenarios against Iran (developed by the US government) is Israel attacking first and US (pretending there is no other choice) joining the forces.
Why is Romney telling this? I think just for creating image of himself as a strong leader capable handling the possible situations.
