Doesn't all over the continent. German fathers day was some weeks ago.

But regardless: A very happy fathers day to all fathers and father figures out there!

Spooky, but over the last two nights, I've had two dreams about kids. The first involved a little girl, about age eight. The second involved a baby boy. I was the dad in both dreams.

Bollocks. A fine old time to become broody. I thought I was peachy just being an uncle (and godfather, hah!) many times over. I have a giant extended family and usually acquire a new niece or nephew every eighteen months or so. Naturally I'm warm and loving to all the little shits.

Oh well, I'll just change my profile and give it the heading, "Who wants my bun in her oven?" I'm sure the applicants will be queuing up. Yes indeedy.

We had the greatest day today. It's really rare that we can sneak things on the Hubby, but today we went out to eat like we always do on family day. And we had everything planned from the night before(the gifts were hidden in the trunk of the car). Thing is, of all days, He decides to wake up and wash the cars. I just knew he had seen the gift bag, he didn't. Thank goodness. So anyway, we get to the restaurant, and I told the girls they left the hand sanitizer in the car, so they go to the car. Meanwhile, I'm steady talking to Him, keeping his attention, and they walk up and put his gift bad right in his face. SWEETEST THING IN THE WORLD! He had no clue. He was so happy. I think we freaked the waitress out when she asked if the girls were My kids and we told her "No, we are a quouple. It's like a couple except with four people. " The look on her face was priceless,lol.

Happy father's day to the fathers, and to the single mothers who play the father's role as well!

For what it's worth, the Australian father's day isn't till the first Sunday in September.
