Bare with me. Im gonna put this as best I can. Has any of you Mistresses ever put your sub in chastity long distance? If so, did you mail back the key and relied on him to send it back? How would a long distance chastity work?

Check out the search function, there has been a LOT of discussion on this.

It can work however you want it to. What are you going to do to prove that you haven't gotten around the device? Will there be an extra key, maybe stuck in an ice tray? What's the point of the chastity?

Trust is a big issue, too. I am not interested in locking anyone away long-term, it doesn't suit me, but I have to KNOW that he's going to be obedient to whatever I've done.

If most post are bs and not scientific fact... then why do you ask?

We give responses from our experiences and opinions. One can take them for whatever worth they find in them. However, your post on an old thread, only serves to make those of us that would respond, unresponsive in a positive manner.

Chastity can be used, played or done in many ways. I don't use long term chastity. I will use it in play, but if it is long distance, they have a key. Some may want the excitement of feeling as if they cannot get out of it. Most chastity devices... they can get out of if they try hard enough. It may hurt a bit, but they can do it. I don't use chastity in this manner and feel it is better to have the key so that I can play with them in other ways if I want that chastity off spur of the moment. After all... it isn't all about his wants and needs and I have a part in it or I won't have him in chastity.

Most that do long distance chastity are not really invested in the person they are playing with. I only do it with existing relationships. Therefore, I know it isn't all about him, but about us. Chastity enhances what is already there, not the basis of something for me. The state of a cock means nothing to me, if his heart isn't already in chastity and yet free within that chastity.

My opinion based on my experiences. It may mean nothing to you... but there it is.

At best a chastity device is a deterrent. The true control is between the submissive’s ears. How committed are they and how much respect they have for the Dominant is the determining factor of chastity.

In this post Im not exactly wanting to hear about the science of it. Pretty much just how the average Mistress would go about putting there sub inchastity if they were a long distance of each other. I sincerely apologise if you took what I said the wrong way. Nothing personal.

What do you think of the idea? If you are playing a game (and not placing a value judgment, games = fun as long as everyone knows it's a game) you should play for enjoyment.

Speaking more practically, commercial chastity devices are costly and difficult to fit. It's not like buying a pair of socks, where they'll adjust. Sure, it's exciting to click that lock, but really? There's better ways to have a good time long distance.

But that's just me.

as a submissivive i maintained an online chastity commitment to several Dommes. two had me buy chastity devices for extended use. this actually worked well for me, eliminating temptations while online and showering. i went for one period of 56 days and another of 30 days. others have said it and i totally agree, it is all a matter of trust. the reason one elects to submit and obey is because you want to. it is all about giving up control to another.

while some may feel there is no need for chastity devices, other may disagree.

I've never had a LD sub but I did, at one time, have a realtime sub in chastity. For a short time. After he begged and begged me to put him in the CB6000, he somehow managed to get out of it without the key, announcing to me that there is not a chastity device made that he couldn't get out of. So that was the end of that. And him too. So then and there I realized, too, that real chastity happens between the ears. He was never into it in the first place, it was all a game to him.

I would not do LD chastity. I would want the guy out of it every so often for hygiene purposes etc and, depending on how fast/slow the mail is, it might take awhile to get the key back to him to facilitate that. Or else, I'd need a trustworthy friend closer to him to be the keyholder. And if I am not the keyholder to my own sub's chastity device, what's the point?

So if you're talking with a specific dominant who could tell you what she envisions, ask her.

What the "average mistress " would do won't necessarily apply. We are not one size fits all.

You can buy these little plastic locks with random 6-digit serial numbers on them. They don't use a key, you cut them off with scissors when you want to take it off. You can take a picture of the serial number to prove that you're not cheating. Seems like an ideal way to do long distance with a chastity device.

What he said. Most chastity devices comes with a few plastic locks thrown in. Your Mistress should discuss what she wants to do with you before you both undertake anything.

This.^^ I didn't even continue reading the rest of the posts yet. This is exactly what I tell My subs who I have on lock down. I have a key, as do they. The real test of submission relies with them. They know whether or not they are being obedient.

However I have been thinking of that device I saw on the other side. The one that unlocks from the computer. Sounds fun.

In my world, if I put a girl in chastity I don't need anything for her to abide by it. No belts, no special locks or keys.

I guess I'm doing it wrong.
