Hello A/all, I am looking for discrete collars that can be worn in public. A friend of mine had a very nice chain collar that looked more like a necklace, but the problem was it was made from some cheap metal, and it became tarnished quickly. Add to that, it made her itchy and parts of her skin turn a shade of green. What types of metals wont cause itchyness or discoloration? Is there a website, or does someone know of a product that meet the criteria? Something collar like, that wont draw too much attention? Thank you

That might be a good place for you to start.

^^ This And as a quick link http://www.eternitycollars.com/products/collars.html Stainless Steel and therefore shouldnt be a problem with allergies and go rather well with 'civilian' attire. My wench wears one to work quite often and it looks rather fine. She gets compliments on it from co-workers.

Came across this stealth collar at the flea, at 1/4" it does seem less vanilla noticeable than ring of steels normal 3/8" or eternity collars 5/16" http://www.ringofsteel.net/stealthcollarpp.html

WalMart has some really nice heavy silver chain collars that would do very well. Wait for a sale when they are 50% off or more. The sales happen often.

My ex sub worked at a law firm. (Definitely non kink friendly environment). She wore a sterling toe ring with my initials. The most important location for a collar is in the submissive's mind, not around the neck.

I wear a necklace every day that was given to me by Master. I work in a school, so I have to be ultra-conservative with my appearance, and Master let me choose something appropriate. It's a silver chain with a pendant on it that has special meaning to us. As Hilly said, it doesn't matter what the collar on the body is, it's the collar in the mind that matters.

I have an eternity collar and I have only a few vanilla friends who know what it is and till I told them after one of them saw it and asked no one knew I was wearing it lol After the first month I don't even know I have it on, it is the titanium one.

The best, most discreet collars I've seen on the net are Silverfoot's locking chains. They lock with a discreet allen screw, which basically just looks like a plain silver plate attaching the chain. You can attach a meaningful pendant, and he makes them all to order so they're very high quality and will fit perfectly. I can't seem to find his old BDSM page, but his main page is here: http://www.firescale.com/ The nice thing about those collars is that though it's basically just a regular chain, it's completely nonremovable without the allen key that comes with it.
