The "Interests" list doesn't contain simply "Caging" as an option, but rather "Kept In A Cage At All Times." More and more, I've seen women's profiles in which this item is selected, particularly among those who present as slaves, and seeming a bit more common for those under 30. Some obervations (positive) in search of perspecitves . . . .
I'm not at all conflicted about caging. For a slave in my household, being locked naked inside a cage, and for extended periods of time, has been and will be an integral part of the life she has chosen. Being kept in a cage at all times, however, extends beyond this, the pivotal word being "all". In essence, it implies something approaching 24/7 physical confinement and captivity (and so it doesn't matter if the "container" is a cage or a cell). I'm also not at all conflicted about a slave being kept in permanent captivity, provided it was part of the shared vision of enslavement. But I'm wondering . . . .
For those who have included this in your "Interests," do you genuinely mean "at all times"? And what is it about this that makes it appealing and desirable? In envisioning life as a slave, how do you envision the reality? Does your vision include understanding that this would be a life of limited intellectual and social stimulation and interaction. and the possible consequences? Does it include understanding that your raison d'etre would be essentially reduced to use? Does it include understanding that this represents virtually complete objectification, that your very existence would be little more than that of a sentient animal?
Personally, I have no conflict, ethically or otherwise, with any of this. Quite the contrary, in fact. However, I know, on the one hand, why I would be most willing to pursue this path with a slave who shared such a vision. On the other hand, I am curious about what those who select this as an interest actually intend, and why they are drawn to it.
