God ! I hate rap, How the F*** does it stay alive ?

WTF does this have to do with the preference for a Black Master?????.....Ignorance is NOT bliss contrary to popular belief.

As a Black DOMINANT seeking submissives, I don't know of any particular style pertaining to Black DOMINANTS.  Again, as others have said, I believe it is just a personal preference.

Arpig -> RE: "Black Master"? (6/7/2006 10:28:31 PM)

Why not ask some of the people who list it in their profile what they mean by it?

just a thought...

LiliesDoGrow -> RE: "Black Master"? (6/7/2006 10:48:26 PM)

Just my opinion which doesn't mean much. Not even to me.

If someone wished to be with me for my race only. Or saw my race as a fetish like a sex toy or clothing, I'd be upset. Also, I wouldn't request someone be a certain race in order to dominate me or relate with me in any way, shape or form.

I know people on both sides of the racial fence seek those of opposite colors as a preference but it strikes me just as shallow as prefering someone who has money, great looks, or social status. Just shallow.

When a gentleman messages me stating he's a "Black Master" I ask him why he feels the need to say this? The answer is usually fear of rejection because of previous racist incedence.

Colors are beautiful, but what a person is inside is more beautiful. I know I'm sounding idealistic but it saddens me that others judge how dominant a man will be, how sexual promiscuous a woman will be, how gifted in "rap" a kid will be because they are black.

I'm bi-racial but have blond hair, white skin and blue eyes. Life's been interesting because of this.

This is kinda what prompted me to ask. I've had a number of people write to me and indicate they were a "Black Master." Like I said, I'm not questioning that there are lots of people of African heritage who are dominant and masters...it's just that I've been confused by the spesific mentioning of race and the fact that that spesific phrase is used over and over again.

I dunno. I guess I was just totally off base, but the individuals I've spoken to led me to believe that there is a...I dunno...a school of dominantion.

I'm not disparaging anyone's racial preferences. Heck, I like tall skinny guys. It was just that I'd seen the same phrase over and over, and had it spesifically mentioned to me many times.

I've asked the individuals who'd talked to me about it, but my questions were deemed...uh...unsubmisisve...and there were some rather nasty replies.

Looks like they're not all that different from self-proclaimed white masters after all.

OnyxGoddess -> RE: "Black Master"? (6/8/2006 5:03:26 AM)

I'm a day late and a dollar short but the same can be said of submissives.  I get a million and one emails saying "white boy here" "white sub" "do you like white boys" and my question always is -who gives a shit about your color?  Some of us are still hung up on the tone of ones skin.  *sigh*  With all the education and all the progress we made I thought we were past this superficial crap.

How would you like your master? Do you want fries too, or to biggie size him?

I would only accept Masters during my search who were flavored with 50 weight whose favorite colors were black and orange. Found that and oh yeah he was already biggie sized in the right areas.

Lordandmaster -> RE: "Black Master"? (6/8/2006 6:23:14 AM)

It's just amazing to me how race seems to have taken over as Topic No. 1 on Collarme these days.

PrincessinLatex -> RE: "Black Master"? (6/8/2006 6:34:25 AM)

We've decided to give the "money domme/pro domme" topic a rest. We will do a rehash of it next week.
Maybe the people who don't get replies to their emails have gotten some spam to shut them up.
There are dim flickers of the "why can't I get a mistress" going around. . .but it is still a dull roar.
I think racism is the gripe du jour. It will quickly become unfashionable and we can resume the regularly scheduled threads about tributes and why people don't respond to emails.

Just my thoughts on the matter.

Being a black DOMINANT, I have run into many many "subs/slaves" including black ones that don't want anything to do with DOMINANT black women....For some odd reason we have a reputation for being DOMINEERING and not necessarily DOMINANT (yes there is a difference).  On the flip side I have  been sought out  by many "subs/slaves" including black ones that DO want a DOMINANT black woman in their lives.   I just look at it as preference.  We all have to identify ourselves at some point so lets get it our from jumpstreet and bypass the the potential BS.

I would say the correct reaction to someone that identifies themselves by race would be  "thats nice to know but it doesn't really matter what your skin color is, what color is your heart?"  or something along those lines.

mnottertail -> RE: "Black Master"? (6/8/2006 7:01:26 AM)

Ah, have you forgotten me so readily my love? LOL.  And I can't hit Emporer.. It was clean, it was funny, and anybody who has Cohn's Thunderbird in his sig line....well, hell he has got one coming from me, anyway.

This black white thing........this racial humiliation thing.  None of it is new from either direction.............

Read 'Before the Mayflower,"  Lerone Bennett, Jr. (given me by a black slave I owned.)

There just wasn't any kill and hate that went with it.

I like the contrast in color of the skins too.  No big deal.  I also like ribeye steak and hate blackeyed peas and lima beans.

What does this have to do with anything?  Not much probably.

Ron

Ahhhhhhhh, Jesus.  I probably posted on the wrong Black Master thread.  What I have to say is useless on either anyway.

Arpig -> RE: "Black Master"? (6/8/2006 7:18:16 AM)

Well now that it has been established that "Black Masters" (apparently both words must be capitalised [;)]) is in fact a racial reference, then who gives a fuck? Some folks like blacks, some folks like white, and some don't care one way or another.
personally I find those who have decided in advance that they want a partner of a specific race to be both shallow and somewhat distatsetful, but then again I find a lot of people to be that way.

SalemWiK -> RE: "Black Master"? (6/8/2006 7:29:00 AM)

Sadly when you limit yourself to a "group" you tend to miss out on people who might just make you feel a lot better and will love you a lot more; thats just my take on the whole picking/choosing races. I'd say the same thing to a sub who wanted only a master her same color, or these girls who want a "black man."

sabswife -> RE: "Black Master"? (6/8/2006 7:48:32 AM)

perhaps its just an attraction to the features, build etc of that ethnicity?  i mean personally i don't tend to be attracted to blondes.. doesn't make me a bad person, just my personal preference .  dunno *shrugs*

I appologize if this is in any way offensive to anyone, it isn't intended to be and any offense is due to my ignorance and not malice.

I've noticed a lot of profiles either stating the writer is, or is looking for a "black master." At first, I figured this just meant a d-type of african-american or african heritage but the more I read the more it seems to refer to a type of domination...That is, that "black masters" own their property differntly from others. Of course -everyone- owns people differently, but in all the profiles I've seen the term used, it seems like this is a school of thought, like Gor or Female Supremacy.

I don't know. Ithink I'm probably way off base, but I was hoping someone could clarify the term for me.  And unconfuse me some.

Thank you

I think it refers to a specific kink based on (I think) misconceptions on black sexuality.  Its the whole Big Black Dick thing where the black guy dominates a white woman and (sometimes) her cuckolded husband.  So its not really a specific style of domination but rather a specific race based kink.

Tikkiee -> RE: "Black Master"? (6/8/2006 8:20:12 AM)

I would hazard a guess that most are referring to their preferenc in skin color. However, there is one young lady who calls her Master black, and it has to do with his personality.

mnottertail -> RE: "Black Master"? (6/8/2006 8:23:36 AM)

Well, I can say that outta this whole deal I am glad that more people of colour are joining in the boards............broadens the experience and makes for a happy playground in my mind.

I know they have all kinds of other shit to put up with.

So, GREAT!!!

BBBTBW -> RE: "Black Master"? (6/8/2006 8:50:25 AM)

For some people it does make a difference.  The OP stated that she was looking for others that had these same experiences....probably in hopes that she wasn't an anomoly in this whole lifestyle..Hopefully she has found that she isn't the only White WOMAN to have found her place in submission to a Black Man.  Just as there other people of differing skintones that have found their places with each other.

This man may have stated that he is SUPERIOR to the White Man...however that may just be part of the ambience he wants to create with his submissive.  It may not convey his true feelings.  I find that people want to throw racism in at the mere mention of a person of differing skintones doing something perhaps better than someone else.  The mere mention of skin tone does not suggest racism.

I find that this kind of discussion only happens when we are talking about people with different tones getting together.  I don't think this thread would have merited much conversation if we were talking about Black People with Black People and White People with White People.

Lets look at the color of the heart rather than the color of the skin.

This post was not a reply to the poster that is indicated at the bottom of this area.  This is just a post in general

Actually, this wasn't what I was saying at all, I was just trying to figure out if it was a spesific kink, or a school of kink.

Thank you, all, for answering my fairly dumb question. I wasn't trying to make race a "thing" but rather get a definition for a term I'd seen used frequently. I get it now, and appreciate the answers.

The thread got alot more complicated than I intended. I wasn't trying to make any assertation at all about the way race works within the BDSM community or relationships in general. Just wanted a general definition.

Again, thanks.
