I came across a recent story on "Shackle Sneakers," a new design from Adidas which had been scheduled to be introduced this month. However, because of mounting criticism which compared these sneakers to slave and prison shackles, Adidas cancelled their plans for the shoes. Adidas certainly gave these sneakers "the boot!"

I saw a story on them on Yahoo news that listed them and several other "offensive" products including a "Math is Tough" talking Barbie.I thought the shoes were funny but kind of ugly looking myself,I'm not a big fan of orange and purple especially together in a shoe.
