If we're going to talk in generalities, I think men are more visual than women when it comes to attraction. I think men will put up with far more if a woman appeals to them physically, hence the success of trophy wives. On the other hand I if a woman is with a man she thinks is the most gorgeous male she's ever seen, and she discovers that he's a jerk, she won't stay with him because he's so very good looking that she just can't resist. Perhaps a better question would be: do submissive men prefer a taller Mistress? My guess is some yes some no. Yes, if the height inspires your submission; no if you get off on the fact that despite your height, someone smaller than you has total control over you. Then there's probably the middle ground guys who couldn't care less one way or the other. (And yes, there are always exceptions of course.) FR Given that I'm 6'3 in a nation of (and this is the technical term) "short-arses" there are very few people taller than me yet alone carrying teh ovaries. But to actually relate this to the OP even a casual glance at any thread that begins "Does X prefer Y or.." the answer universally is some dae, some dinnae. ...unless the question was "Do Dommes prefer intimate moments with a partner while an extra terrestrial life form quotes passages from Corrinthians or without" but really that's just silly...

Probably because of the fact that in both threads that have been on CM in the last month or so, where women where asked how much they cared about height, most women said it mattered a great deal to them. Correct Me if I'm wrong, Ishtarr. Isn't your husband roughly the same height as you? The example that you are providing lacks detail. For somebody like Me who happens to be 5'2", height isn't going to matter. I'm not the only one who has said so on this thread for those of us who tend to be a bit shorter. On the other end of the scale, it might matter to those who are a bit taller. The funny part about this is that height is not something that a potential partner can control. Take another area that can not be controlled or is destined by birth, such as penis size, and most women say they don't give a crap about that, either. More often than not, it's males who are hung up on the idea that they are not tall enough. We actually have a semi-regular poster to these boards who has the hugest chip on his shoulder because of his height and how he thinks the rejection that he suffers is due to it. Reading what he has to say, I'd lay My odds any day of the week that it's because of his bad attitude, rather than his height. The height is just a more convenient excuse.

Now me, I am a good height at 5'11" but would dearly love to own an Amazon woman. They get real short on their knees, or all fours. But that's just a kink. Height isn't a real 'problem'. As LP points out, it's the attitudes the problem. Oh, yeah, and the second part. My penis is big enough to satisfy me every time. So that works out real well for me.

I would have never guessed that, I used to always think that this height obsession was just in guy's heads, but after seeing how many women came forwards and said they don't date guys they consider to be short... maybe men are so obsessed with height because they're used to having it quoted as the "why" they've been turned down.
