ORIGINAL: LadyPact More often than not, it's males who are hung up on the idea that they are not tall enough. We actually have a semi-regular poster to these boards who has the hugest chip on his shoulder because of his height and how he thinks the rejection that he suffers is due to it. Reading what he has to say, I'd lay My odds any day of the week that it's because of his bad attitude, rather than his height. The height is just a more convenient excuse. I'm a short gent, just 5'4''. I might have a Napoleonic chip from time to time, but I've grown to accept it. Witty Bambi. In the vanilla world it wasn't a chip, it is an appreciable demographic weakness. "Tall, dark, and handsome." It's the first one for a reason. But the vanilla world is still hung up on a male = dominant assumption. Some women don't care. Many want to feel small in his big arms or want to feel safe. In femdom power exchange, everything is reversed. I've met Dommes who want an "I ride a big mighty tiger" vibe, and ergo go for the biggest baddest bulkiest macho man they can wrap a collar on. (Sometimes, I'm convinced its a child's belt, not a collar.) Other Dommes enjoy being able to lean forward and stare down their pet. In my experience, it has never come up as a benefit or a liability. I count myself lucky that most Dommes in my past are more like Lady Pact, NiceButMean, TNDommeK, MistressDarkArt, LittleMsMary, Lockit, et al. (as a side not, I don't much like the word "Domme," but as we're discussing dominant females as they might differ from dominant males, I wanted to be clear)
