amylynne -> tied for sex (6/7/2006 8:53:24 PM)

During sex whether oral or not my Master and Mistress tie, chain or cuff me. I am wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to increase my comfort during these times when I may lie on the restraints or need to move to accomplish my task.

They prefer hard restraints but Im interested to see if there are some more comfortable restraints or techniques out there.

Fur lined cuffs are very comfy and so are ropes when tied the right way...also have you looked into mits? ill go find you some links.

They should be checking to make sure that there is no damage being done with too tight restraints. It doesn't take long for damage to occur. Do they check with you to make sure you are okay?

Fur-lined or even leather-lined cuffs and collars are preferable for comfort. Smooth, non-abrasive nylon ropes are recommended, making certain to not tie too tightly and thus inadvertently cut off circulation at the joints. And never forget the virtue of pillows. I have purchased a heap of lavish pillows of all sizes to add the element of comfort during prolonged binding or shackling.

Hello amylynne,

Welcome to CM.

As stated above fur-lined cuffs are great.  Also, have them make sure the knots in any ropes aren't under you as they can be uncomfortable in itself.  They can also use velcro.

When I chain my subs hands over her head, I usually put her in fur-lined cuffs then put the chain through the chain on the cuffs.

I often end up laying on the chains and it has caused bruising. Is there a lighter chain or like material that would be better.

my EX-Master used to check on my wrists when he tied them.....i loved the tightness and the marks the rope left, but sometimes He would have to loosen them

As everyone else has said, there are always the fur-lined cuffs, but there is also the option of having longer cuffs made, spreading the contact area with the leather out over a greater earea, thus also reducing the strain on the skin.

Another option is using a length of silk wrapped around what is about to be secured, or a similarly light material.

As for chains, it might be expensive, but there are a number of chain mail patterns that can be made in any length that has a great deal of strength to them, but much less weight and a small impact area than simple log chain.  Plus, I personally think it adds a bit of originality, but then again, I make chain mail, so take that with a grain or two of salt.

If you are looking for some kind of rope, I would suggest either horse leader ropes or paracable, which can be bought in many military surplus stores.

Just a couple of suggestions...

zip ties are fun but grossly uncomfie.  little wee buggers they are

How about climbing rope (soft and has some spring to it) attached to a carabener with a swivel that then clips to the cuffs? Wow can you tell I've been in the mountains for too long?
