Status: offline 		Lately peoples views on Facebook have changed. Over the past months lots of issues have been brought up. From privacy violation to simply, boring. If a new social network came out, that didn't violate your privacy and had many new features that facebook doesn't offer...Would you join it?

*A general social network (example: facebook, myspace). Not a specified interest social network (example: fetlife, collarme).

Status: offline 		A general social network. Not a specified interest social network. One that you can use for almost anything, just like facebook.

Status: offline 		If it didn't limit Me to what pics I could put on My wall, or how many people I could send friend requests to, or how many friends I could have...then hell yea. But I have to admit, I love facebook. Some of the things the site does irritates Me though.

I have no desire to but thank you for asking... just stating that I don't have a facebook account, so probably not go to another. Besides Google attempted to assault Facebook's monopoly and Google plus doesn't seem to have gone anywhere. Shrug.

I have a fake facebook I used for work. I've successfully resisted the urge to create a real one.

Status: offline 		I am on G+ but never go there. Same with Twitter. I follow some amusing celebs on Twitter, but there's only so many hours in the day, even for an internet addict with a smartphone whose professional day is spent in front of a computer.

Status: offline 		MySpace died and I hope FaceBook follows suit. One day, when they develop a decent social network software, maybe, just maybe I will be happier about it. I do social networking and construct commercial FaceBook identities. I hate FaceBook as much as I hate cell phones. Depersonalizing the human race and creating things like cyber friends is just fucking awful.

Picture this:

You flip on your text message, hit the mic icon to talk & type, speak as it types, then send the text. WTF is that??? . . . seriously, if you are gonna' speak a message to someone, just fucking call them and speak to them.

I have put pics up on My wall and facebook has removed them. If there is something they deem graphic, they will pull it down.

Status: offline 		Yes, why not? If my friends and family move to other then of course I would follow or they would probably follow me because we all want to be able to keep in contact with each other.

I left MySpace years ago for the same reason. I left different chat systems for the same reason.

Status: offline 		I love Facebook. It's allowed me to become reacquainted with great friends and family members I had lost touch with over the years. I have family overseas and it's a great way to share pictures and see what's going on in their world. Time Zone differences and work/family schedules make it almost impossible to call each other, and really, I just don't have time to be gabbing on the phone very much anyway.

I don't use Facebook to make online friends. I use it to share thoughts, ideas, funny stuff, serious stuff, pictures, etc, with existing family and friends. It's a connection to family and friends all over the place. I'd move to another social network if they all did, but there would be no reason for me to change social networks if everyone I communicate with is still on FB.

Something will come along and eclipse
it eventually. I would argue there are
better social networks now or ones I
enjoy and use more.
The only reason I'm on facebook is for
the people I keep up with on facebook.
If they left I would.
I find facebook very boring and uncreative.
With the new timeline you customize
the pages some but aesthetically for
me facebook is sorely lacking.
