FR - I just heard a story on NPR about Iran and how the citizens in rural areas who only have access to state TV are more supportive of the regime and how those with access to other sources of information and who are educated are more critical.

Too bad we've become so polarized. that's the loss of critical thinking. if you have an open mind, you can be persuaded to see the other side of the argument as valid, whether or not you agree. if your mind is slammed shut, only voices that agree with you are heard. if you only see half the rainbow of people that occupy this planet, its a bland world you live in .... girl in the middle ....

That's probably a necessary step to convincing yourself that anybody who disagrees with you is wrong, probably evil, and too stupid to be allowed to vote, sadly.

Remember people, when you're in public and you see Fox News on some tv -- in a bar, waiting room, gym, whatever.... ASK THEM POLITELY TO PUT ON --- The Travel Channel... The History Channel... The Discovery Channel... The Disney Channel....
