I have no idea why you feel that way. Maybe it's because you are using the internet for your search. Most on the internet are not who and what they say they are. Or it could be because you equate financial Dommes with being fake. Many financial Domms are very real.

I have never run into a fake Domme at all. However, I meet them in person, not via the internet. At munch and events I have met many wonderful dominant ladies. Believe me when I say they were very very real.

Um. Two possibilities.

1. All Dommes actually ARE fake.
2. All Dommes are not fake, and your perception is flawed.

So, we can assume that you're a submissive man looking for a Domme. What are you doing to attract them? Why is your profile hidden? What kind of message are you sending them (they cannot message you since your profile is hidden)?

OP, if you are having trouble finding a domme, well this isn´t the candy store where you can just run in and pick up the perfect domme. Stop whining about ´fakes´, read, learn, get to know people, be patient and present yourself as someone with something to offer a dominant woman (and indeed, any woman). These ´why are all women here fakes´threads are ten a penny, and extremely offputting, not to mention tedious and repetetive.

And make sure your profile is not hidden.

As to the OP, if you broaden your age search above 22, that might help weed out those less sincere.

the OP's question isn't well worded, but it does seem that an enormous percentage of dommes and switches are pros, to the point that i'm wondering whether it's worth it to flesh out my profile.

is there some way to filter professionals out of the search? i have utmost respect for what they do, but i'm looking for a relationship, not a session.

I thought your profile looked pretty good actually- not sure what you felt you needed to flesh out.

To your question above and the OP, keep in mind that if we were to break kinky people up into groups the percentage of Dominant women would be the smallest. Submissive/slave women are the next smallest group, submissive and Dominant men greatly outnumber any amount of women on any adult site. I've seen ratios that say 10:1 down to 4:1, as far as men:women. This is probably one of the biggest reasons that lots of women (and men pretending to be women) have picked up on the demand and are taking advantage of the imbalance to become professionals.

As far as I know there is no way to set search parameters to filter out professionals, you'll need to do that on your own by reading profiles, and you can use the block user feature to keep them out of future searches. Searching for a female Dominant to have a relationship with is tough, but not impossible, there have been a good number of men on the boards that have shared their wisdom in accomplishing that. You can do a search of the board material and find various threads on the subject.

Daniel, I suggest you read the FAQs in the Ask A MIstress forum.

But I STRONGLY suggest you get out to munches/play parties/ events and make yourself known (I believe this is covered in the FAQs as well...)

*sighs* Seriously, OP, what you consider fake, others may think is a dream come true. But I agree with everyone else, get off your computer go out and attend munches, or just attend the real world. It's pretty awesome out here.

At least you can figure it out from their profiles or first few emails. I want a filter for cheating married men!

What I want to know is why guys look at profiles with photos of photoshopped, amazingly hot women.....and then are surprised that they're not real....then need to post a thread on how many fakes there are.
