Nothing like some good news to start off your day!

meatcleaver -> RE: al-Zarqaqi killed in Iraq (6/8/2006 4:35:05 AM)

I wonder how many virgins he has had already or whether paradise is proving a disappointment.

Moloch -> RE: al-Zarqaqi killed in Iraq (6/8/2006 5:26:11 AM)

Hmm lets see we have 72 virgins and erm ALOT of muslims blowing themselves up, I guess they like polymroy

Lordandmaster -> RE: al-Zarqaqi killed in Iraq (6/8/2006 6:21:46 AM)

I'm surprised it didn't happen a week before Election Day.

ModeratorEleven -> RE: al-Zarqaqi killed in Iraq (6/8/2006 6:38:39 AM)

No, the announcement before election day will be that we've killed OBL.  Except that he'll release a video tape a week after the election saying that was just a political hoax.

The fact that that's not even meant tongue in cheek is scary.  And the fact that it would work is downright appalling.

Yours,

Wolf1020 -> RE: al-Zarqaqi killed in Iraq (6/8/2006 7:24:27 AM)

they should have took him alive and cut his head off with a butter knife, let him gurgle through his throat while the rest of his neck his sawed through like many others have at his hands.  I've seen the videos, trust me they are something that you don't want to see.  Frankly this end was to good for him, but I'm still happy the SOB is dead, he wasn't a human he was an animal pure and simple.

And as far as the virgins go some people say it was mistranslated and is supposed to be white rasins, what a screw up that would be "Wheres my virgins!" "Here are your rasins!" "WTF you mean raisins I didn't die for no damn raisins I want my virgins!"

Pavel -> RE: al-Zarqaqi killed in Iraq (6/8/2006 8:26:42 AM)

I can hardly restrain my glee. It's not really a good thing (obviously) to take joy in someone's death, but really, if anyone deserved it, I'd say he did.

Too bad microwave weapons don't exist.  I'd liked to have seen his head explode ala "Scanners"

SweetSarijane -> RE: al-Zarqaqi killed in Iraq (6/8/2006 5:44:37 PM)

I'm glad the SOB is dead if he's really dead. He deserved it. I just hope he really is actually dead and we don't hear at a later date that it wasn't him afterall. I've got that waiting for the other shoe to drop feeling.

MasterRenegade77 -> RE: al-Zarqaqi killed in Iraq (6/8/2006 7:34:32 PM)

I hate to sound like a Conspiracy Theorist but Look at the facts Bush's Ratings are at a All time Low, So outta the hat they Pop a Dead zarqawi, think it's a coincidence??? LMFKAO...
Does anyone in their right mind think that this Admin. doesn't know where OBL is this very moment???
It's just not the right time to Play the OBL card yet!!!

ArtCatDom -> RE: al-Zarqaqi killed in Iraq (6/8/2006 7:45:14 PM)

I think getting al-Zarqawi is much more politically than tactically useful. After all it's al-Qaeda in Iraq. Tactically? The foreign fighters and small Iraqi minority that support the Salafist terrorists have a martyr. The broader insurgency (which is made of native Iraqis) benefits as we focus our energies on al-Zarqawi's brood. All this focus on the al-Qaeda forces that came to Iraq to fight the American occupancy distracts from the much larger and more dangerous concern of the homegrown insurgency.

Just my opinion.

*meow*

EDIT: ZarqaWi not ZarqaQi. Bad PorchCat.

Lordandmaster -> RE: al-Zarqaqi killed in Iraq (6/8/2006 7:47:06 PM)

Isn't it Zarqawi?  Why do people keep saying Zarqaqi?
