cuddleheart50 -> Fathers Day (6/8/2006 3:33:16 AM)

I have the hardest time coming up with something to get my dad for Fathers Days.  Any suggestions?

Yes.........write him a letter telling him what he means to you.  How proud you are to be his daughter, the feelings from your heart, the little things he may have done for you while growing up...etc.   Put it on some nice stationary.......tie a silk ribbon around it and and hand it to him on fathers day.

For those of you that are lucky enough to still have father's........This means more than any "gifts" you can give him.  He will always have it and can look back and read it.

I am planning to write my Father a letter and tell him exactly what he means to me and the wonderful positive impact he has had upon my life. If there is ONE male in this world that I would kneel at his feet its my Daddy (yes I still call him Daddy) , no other man can hold out a hope for that. He has been the one person in my life who has always been there for me no matter what has happened.

I also bought him a brand new Lazyboy recliner with all the bells n whistles...you know how men love their chairs [:D]

Well I'm getting a pink tshirt with "Daddys Girl" printed on it to wear and plan to spoil him rotten...but this isn't my biological daddy.

You could spoil him for a day by taking him to a show, taking a road trip together somewhere within a few hours to see something cool together, go to the movies, get him a dvd player, get him a membership to a wine club...what are his interests?

Great... the only interest my daddy has is my mom... no other hobbies...just mom... no golf... no cars...music.. nothing... just mom... so what do you get the man who has everything he's ever wanted?

Last year I made my Dad up a scrapbook with pictures of my siblings and I, the grandkids, great-grandkids, his parents.. put little captions and stuff on them.. He cried.. said it was the best present he ever got.

Great big hug and a I love you. Room, board, and bail for 18 years. A fully stocked bar to make up for what you stole. Bend over and actually let him give you a good swift kick. Start giving him an inflation adjusted allowance. Viagra, and now they don't have to be quick and quiet. Tell him he was right. Force your man to be good enough for his little girl. Give mom a good how to kinky sex book. If he's still young enough a vasectomy gift certificate, the gift that stops taking. If he's frisky enough, a ticket to Amsterdam. Porn. ( see Viagra above )

A puppy. A man loves a good dog, and it loves him, a puppy can let him be young, is something to care for now that the children are grown, a reason to go for a walk and enjoy the world. Unconditional love and care both ways.
A female friend of mine's Dad is gruff old guy. But the puppy he got is his little princess now.
