There is a two year age difference. There is no pedophilia here.... there is a statute of limitations that has expired.. 4 years for nonviolent sexual assault.

I am not saying her charges are not valid.. her timing is bad... it looks bad... it smells bad.

Even Zimmerman deserves a fair trial.

Keep in mind this is her second call. Previously she called saying that George and his entire family were racist and hostile towards blacks. Then when asked for what she saw specifically from George that was racist, she couldn't come up with one thing that George had said or done, so when asked about any specifics regarding George's family's history of racism, the only example she could give was an obviously made up on the spot about George's mother saying "I hate Obama because he's black and I'm racist!"

I find it hard to take her seriously after that, and that's only one reason out of several that give me reason to doubt her claims.

This is one thing I agree with you on. Knowing now who she is and some of her history there are some major reasons to be skeptical of her claims, but knowing victims of actual molestation it's hard to be too critical out of feeling like I'm belittling actual victims.

The Defense has stuff to discredit her testimony though, one of which O'Mara already mentioned (She claims she wanted this all kept secret because her family loves George, yet she's tried to sell the story to People Magazine and others).


I dont care who she is.

I dont care about her history.

This isnt about her.

Accusations alone should not reflect upon anyone's character.

Im all for women standing up for themselves and calling out sexual predators.... but they should have something more than just her testimony.

I understand there are more victims coming forth accuessing Sandusky. As to Zimmerman will see, but I would not discount it just yet.

Sorry, but I just came back to this thread after a long absence and fell upon this one.

Not speaking to any poster in particular here, not arguing any legal point, but this notion of Zimmerman supposedly reaching for his cell phone supposedly for purpose of 'calling the police' is just cracking me up, honestly.

Let's play this scenario through, please humor me.


911: Hello, what is the nature of the emergency?

GZ: Hello? Yes, um, well I'm following this guy, and ...

911: Are you the person who hung up on me a couple of minutes ago, sir?

GZ: Yeah, that's me. But anyway, I'm following this guy, and ...

911: OK, sir, we really don't need you to be doing that, OK?

GZ: OK.

911: You said "OK" just before you hung up the last time. Are you going to hang up now?

GZ: OK. I mean, no, I'm not going to hang up now. I need help.

911: What is the issue, sir? And in any case, why are you still following this person? Is he committing a crime? Do you know that you are putting yourself in potential danger by ignoring polite instruction from 911? You already know that the police are on the way.

GZ: OK. I mean, no, he's not. But I think he's high on drugs or something, or maybe I'm high on drugs or something, I'm not sure.

911: So now there is a problem, then?

GZ: OK. I mean, yes, a problem. After I ignored what you told me and I hung up on you, I followed this guy, and now he's asking me why I'm following him, and he seems kind of pissed off and everything.

911: That is understandable, sir.

GZ: OK. I mean, ... what I mean is, I think I have a gun, and this guy seems pissed off that I'm following him and everything, I think I'm going to shoot him or something.
