My Mom's best advice was to find a man that you love just being around and not because of specific things he does and never pick a man thinking he will change for the better. As far as her advice on getting and keeping a man happy... "Keep his balls drained". Love my Mom!

My mom wasn't always in the kitchen and she certainly never indicated I needed to be all the time. She did indicate I should obey and respect first and foremost the ones born with a penis, and not put out until married, lol. In my life, I've unfortunately come to notice that my mom's approval of a guy has little to do with him being a fit counterpart for a relationship with me. I miss my dad for that reason, as he never treated my mom like that, nor did he encourage his daughters to be with/marry just any man (loosely defined as being born with a penis). M
