You skipped a step or two. If women indeed are watching porn more, what types of women (Domme, sub, etc.), and what kind of porn? You kinda assumed they'd be Dommes watching femdom porn, and I'm not sure that's a legit assumption.

OP, the type of porn you are describing is marketed towards male submissives. These folks aren't exactly stupid. The make the films that will target the demographic that is most likely to buy the porn in the first place. By far, that demographic is male.

The vast majority of porn is produced for men (by men), and although that is changing, porn produced for women (or by women) is still in the minority. There are a few FemDom videos out there that are decent, but I can always find something in them that makes me go "Ickickickick". In fact my pickyness about porn is why I used to have a sub find it for me. It was his job to sort through all the crap and send me the sort of thing that I might actually enjoy. I found him quite useful lol.

Have to agree with the posters above, I find a LOT of the femdom porn out there just holds zero interest for me. It often just comes across as angry or really cold to me and doesn't spark my imagination in any way. Lesbian hentai on the other hand definitely runs the gamut a bit more (there are of course some pretty crazy/far out examples of this too that don't do it for me) and has some things that are much more style and fitting of my personality.

I am not aware of any.

But you know...no matter what you are "in to", 99% of life is vanilla. The clothes need to be washed, the dog walked, the garage cleaned out, money must be made...these things don't magically go away just because you are kinky. A real life sub/dom relationship looks much like any vanilla relationship - except that there is usually a core D/s or M/s dynamic that forms the foundation of the relationship, and within all of those commonplace, vanilla activities of life - kinky things happen.

Porn makes you believe that it is going to be naked and cages and collars and total excitement 24/7. Naked and cages and collars and total excitement happen, but they are notes of spice among the necessary mundanity of life.

This is why it is important to be a person first, and kinky second when you are searching. People have to get along and be compatible in a vanilla setting first before much kinky stuff is ever gong to happen.
