Gawd, Jared has eyes that could melt metal!!!

ResidentSadist -> RE: A tangent of ugly man post --- celebrities? (7/8/2012 7:25:11 AM)

I don't read tabloids and it is possible that he keeps a harem of women, but from his body language and effeminate ways I thought Tom Cruise was gay? Maybe that's why girls don't like him, he sets off their gaydar.

he and his third wife are getting divorced apparently. i saw that on the front of a mag at the checkout while waiting for VERY slow cashier to get a move on.

i think it's more that he's a religeous twat as well.

REALLY REALLY EXTREMELY HOT
Nigel Barker

You have excellent taste!
To add to the really hot list:
Royce Gracie
Vincent D'Onofrio

Not so hot:
David Caruso (it's a combination of looks and his voice, like nails on a chalkboard)
Lyle Lovett
Nick Nolte

MercTech -> RE: A tangent of ugly man post --- celebrities? (7/8/2012 9:34:09 AM)

The name that startled me was Jeff Goldblum... His smarmy ignorant arrogance always left me thinking he would look better with a broken nose.

Meh, what do I know about attractive men.

Now give me someone like Sam Elliot, a young James Arness, Christian Bale...they have that certain 'bad boy' appearance that is appealing.

Ever since the tirades and rants that Christian Bale had came out.....I no longer think him attractive.

slaveluci -> RE: A tangent of ugly man post --- celebrities? (7/8/2012 9:57:20 AM)

To me "attractive" involves much more than looks. They must have that certain charisma also. Here's a short list of celebrities I found utterly "attractive:"

Robert Duvall - gives me shivers just thinking about him[;)] Talk about charisma!
Sam Elliott
Kris Kristofferson
Christian Bale (esp. with a beard)
Matthew McConaughey and Joe Manganiello (both waaaaay before "Magic Mike")
Snoop Dogg
Sean Penn (as he ages)

Chloe Sevigny
Salma Hayek
The chick who plays Sam's wolf girlfriend on "True Blood." She may be the prettiest woman I've ever seen. Mouthwatering!

See. I find Lyle Lovett so hot for his voice and his songwriting talent. I always wondered what HE saw in Julia[;)]

reading the previous posts I have to add Rufus Sewell and Jason Isaacs to my list as well....I love intense eyes.

To MercTech, I always liked Jeff Goldblum, I know he's not traditionally "handsome" but he's got a fun, smart, often sarcastic demeanor that always just gets me.

LadyHibiscus -> RE: A tangent of ugly man post --- celebrities? (7/8/2012 11:49:34 AM)

Daniel Craig. Though I have yet to see any of his Bond films, I've followed his work for years!

David Caruso, my ur-ginger!

Sean Connery.

Pierce Brosnan.

Wesley Snipes.

HARVEY KEITEL OMG.

YAPHET KOTTO. DID I SAY YAPHET KOTTO? (Homicide reruns...I'll be in my bunk)

Nathan Fillion.

IGGY POP. Oh hell yeah.

angelikaJ -> RE: A tangent of ugly man post --- celebrities? (7/8/2012 12:35:01 PM)

First guy on my yes list was Robert Wagner (and he has aged well). I first saw him on It Takes a Thief when I was a not-yet-teen and between his voice and his looks... omgosh.

I found the gap+overbite combo in Donald Sutherland to be very sexy.

And throughout the 80s there was a guy who made frequent "guest" appearances in all of the weekly drama-mysteries. I don't know who he was but he was really quite ordinary looking with thinning dark hair and a non-leading man (ordinary) face. And I was just mad for him.

Oh, and Adam Arkin.

TheBanshee -> RE: A tangent of ugly man post --- celebrities? (7/8/2012 12:57:38 PM)

I'm curious who you are talking about angelikaJ - did you try to look up your show on IMDB? You can view the entire cast - there might be a pic of him in there.

Robert Wagner - I agree - I also liked It Takes a Thief - it was actually my older sister's show but he was hot - and so very cool. He did age well (and I for one believe he had nothing whatsoever to do with Natalie Wood's tragic death).

angelikaJ -> RE: A tangent of ugly man post --- celebrities? (7/8/2012 1:26:54 PM)

Someday when I have lots of time, I will go through the casts for Quincy etc.

He was in so many series as a one shot (or very occasionally coming back years later as someone else) and I will have to scan through the pics for each season

angelikaJ -> RE: A tangent of ugly man post --- celebrities? (7/8/2012 1:39:59 PM)

As for "unattractive" there was a comedian who made the tv rounds and I found his appearance to be so odd it distubed/unsettled me and yet I found him compelling to look at at the same time.
Pete Barbutti.

Don't ask me why I found him to be so odd looking; I looked him up yesterday and do not see it now.

Oh also on my "Yes" list is Raymond Burr: original Perry Mason series -> Ironside (although I preferred Perry Mason).

LadyHibiscus -> RE: A tangent of ugly man post --- celebrities? (7/8/2012 3:01:07 PM)

Terry O'Quinn. Totally the person to be stuck on an island with.

I like him and that show. It may have been your older sister's show, but do you know why they stopped making it? I was younger then and I've always wondered why.

whateven -> RE: A tangent of ugly man post --- celebrities? (7/11/2012 11:05:25 PM)

Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp, Tom Cruise, Channing Tatum are not attractive to me at all.

I am absolutely in love with Jonathan Davis, lol.
Eddie Vedder, Daniel Johns, Jerry Cantrell, Peter Sarsgaard, Rory Culkin, Dillon Lane are on my list as well.

Privileged -> RE: A tangent of ugly man post --- celebrities? (7/12/2012 12:02:46 AM)

Alec Baldwin. Not slim, sparkly eyed Malice Alec Baldwin. Paunchy, grey haired, 30 Rock Alec Baldwin. He makes my lady parts feel weird.

My most recent turbo crush is Joseph Gilgun.
