Not really sure if this is the right board either but hope a moderator will see it. I've noticed a lot of profiles lately expressing that they are "new" in one form or another. I was wondering if anyone had considered posting a "Frequently Used Terms and Definitions" board as some obviously don't know the difference as they are new to the lifestyle...I'm sure it would be a great help to many I've spoken to here.

Great idea.......... The first thing that occurs is that people ask why the ice cream cone is next to their name. It is posted in General. It has been discussed by thousands. links are generally provided. Having said that: There have been numerous threads where there has been an attempt to formulate dictionaries of terms.........it turns out to be nebulous, in that there is no generally accepted definition of anything.......... Think Bill.... what do you mean by the word sex? what do you mean by the word blowjob and so on............. Ron

Very good idea. It would save a lot of time and effort for people with inquiring minds... Or the CM people might put up an FAQ/Help section. Explain some of the things not necessarily obvious. Now I know some mega-poster is going to come along and explain patiently how idiotic this is... wait for it.

I believe there is a forum faq. Though how many people know what faq means or would look for it? Not sure how extensive it is. Not really sure one should be pushing their views down other's throats either. What may be my definition of something may be way off from anothers definition. So, perhaps a list of mere guidelines. In any event the absolute best way to get a term defined is to be bold and ask here. You will get intelligent answers as well as purely idiotic answers. You can then judge for yourself what works for you. I know it is hard to take the plunge but definately well worth it once you do.

The question arises though; by whose definitions and answers would these things be explained? It's a good idea in theory, but a bad idea in practice.
