Ishtarr and Dominant Hunger live in Montrose, Colorado. But they visit the Denver area every so often. DarkStevensGirl and I met them at a local Arabic restaurant. They were happily surprised at the restaurant's food and Ishtarr said it was the first decent Arabic food she's had since coming to the States. (Evidently, there's a large Arabic population in Europe, and a lot of them open up small-but-delicious eateries.)
In every couple, there's one quiet one and one talkative one. He was the quiet one, and she talked. And it was fascinating. She talked about her youth in Belgium, her experiences in Amsterdam, her work as a tech in a high tech nanotechnology manufacturer, and her attempts to break the US speed record while living in Iowa and visiting Chicago.
She's about 5'10", her husband is perhaps an inch taller, and DSG is 5'11". I'm 5'9" and had to put up with jokes about working for Willy Wonka. Hmmmph.
