First I want to prefix my list with a note that I base the criteria not on people I particularly like or would like to meet. There are loads of those. I am thinking ‘spicy mind’ as in a person who’s posts almost always tickle my brain and give me nuggets to contemplate. Quite often, I find myself not agreeing with these poster’s words or philosophies. It’s part of why I read them. I may never agree but I can still learn something. Note: please excuse any slightly wrong spelling. I am lucky to remember names, let alone proper spelling.
Ron- if I had to guess I would say he probably has a genius IQ. He has given me more reason to google words for their meanings than everyone else lumped together. His combination of humour and wisdom (even when it is often hidden crazy rambling laced with complex words and obscure references) makes him my number one go to guy for great spicy posts. Sometimes I wonder if he might be Ed Gein reincarnated, but I’d still take my chances for an evening of Sandeman and great belly laughs.
Ishtar – If I had to guess, another very high IQ. I’ve read her words over the years and rarely are they forgettable or unworthy of the time and effort. I appreciate her contributions a great deal.
Celeste aka BitaTruble – This woman ROCKS! Yet another brilliant mind. Her time and research during the last presidential election was something I hugely appreciated. You name the topic and this woman can nearly teach a class on it, given the time to research it.
NuevaVida (sp)- Also very smart and has been generous enough to share her life journey over the past few years. I’ve gained a lot of respect for her insight, both personal and otherwise.
Bull – The big goober. I swear to god he tries to get people to believe he is a lot dumber than he is but damn if he doesn’t manage to write some seriously good posts that out him. His journey as we’ve seen, hasn’t been perfect (who’s is?????) , but he’s managed to deal with it better than a lot in his position would. I have often read one of his posts and found something to tickle my brain.
Orion – A very smart and thoughtful man that always gives me brain spice. I am always glad to find his contributions.
Malkinus (sp) – Yes, another gorean ( I told you I didn’t have to agree with them!) , but also, thoughtful and brain spice worthy.
LadyP – A lot of her posts I actually cannot relate to personally, her path is not my path, but the core of who she is I adore. I’ve learned a great deal about myself from her.
KoM and his two ladies – I’ve made it no secret that KoM was one of the persons I found most annoying when I first visited this side. It was a good thing. I was an arrogant annoying cunt that didn’t accept the idea of men being dominant over women. KoM, his ladies and a few other submissive women were crucial in my ‘education’. I admire the way KoM has structured his household and the mindset he has conveyed on here, as to how he views his place within that household.
LadyH – A fabulous mixture of grace and humour. I adore her and her ability roll with life, her gracious ways, and joy……..an inspiration to me always.
LadyHugs – I miss her.
Porcelaine – I miss her also.
Benji – Huge miss! A perfect combination of class, intelligence, ambition and humour. I hope like hell he has found exactly what he wants.
Aileen – Another life path I have watched and empathized with, admired the honesty and grit, felt the pain hidden beneath the humour. I am one of her silent cheerleaders. She also hides a lot of her light. Smart woman that teaches with glimpses of her own journey.
I forget the name….cute sassy young man from somewhere out east. Strutted into the forums with a major attitude. The thing that saved him was that he was cute in his little grubby sweatshirt, and most of all, his self deprecating humour. He didn’t take himself as seriously as he wanted us to think he did. He was smart, too smart for his own good. I hope he is okay and happy.
SaharahEve – again we do not have to agree for me to enjoy what they write. She is a very intelligent woman that is passionate about her life. I admire that.
MarcEsadrian – he is very intelligent and tries very hard to be a condescending ass. I don’t always agree with him, but damn if I don’t usually always enjoy, and learn from, his words.
Sunny – Sweet smart Sunny. No more needs to be said.
And shit, I am out of time……..The ladies from the bang thread. Chaitte. Otters, Kana, and a hundred others that are escaping my brain.
