subu4thee -> Another sub coming into my/masters life (6/8/2006 6:40:39 PM)

My Master has always wanted to bring another sub into our relationship,however she is so vanilla and is feeling insecure as well as i .My Question is how do we all begain to share time /each other with out feeling left out? Neither one of us live together? Any advice?

Gee, I'd say read the posts in the poly forum.  They won't be exactly the same as your situation, but they could help.  The other alternative would be to ask those who are already in that situation how they handled it.

i would say to read posts in the poly forum...also, to spend a lot of time with just you and the new sub, so you two build a friendship/relationship and there are no feelings of competing for your master's attention. since you have similar goals, in serving him, it might also be a bonding point for the two of you to create a supportive relationship for each other :)

hi subu4thee,

If I were you I would be feeling insecure too. After all, your Master has said about wanting to bring in another submissive to the relationship..and he brings in a vanilla girl? hrmmmmmmmmmmmm.... maybe he's sick of you and you're being replaced....or worst still...maybe your Master cant decide whether he likes choccy ice cream or vanilla...hope you win out in the taste test war if thats the case.

What exactly do you mean by "she is so vanilla"?  You call her a submissive but say she is vanilla, so I don't understand what you mean.

How do you feel about poly?  What do you know about poly?

Poly does not have to be a BDSM relationship for it to be successful.  Poly and BDSM go well together, but you can have one without the other.  I agree with the other posters to read the poly forum.  There are also books written on poly relationships, start reading.

That is a way of thinking that won't serve her well in a poly relationship.  Poly relationships are not a question of one over the other.  These types of thoughts will only undermine a poly relationship.

Probably one of the reasons I would never do well in a poly relationship *grin* ...seriously though, it was her use of the word vanilla that hooked me into that thought, I'd like to know what she meant by that too.

I hoped that you wouldn't take that the wrong way.  I don't think those type of thoughts are wrong, just not productive for poly.

I am still intensely curious about the vanilla sub comment...

Perhaps it's another way of saying "she's not sub enough".

fullofgrace -> RE: Another sub coming into my/masters life (6/9/2006 7:32:08 PM)

or maybe the other girl wants to be a submissive/feels that's where she fits but is untrained and very new to the whole idea of bdsm? that's what i assumed.

To be totally honest, subu4thee... I would think, before you start taking the advice of people who do not know you or any of the other people in your relationship, you should sit down and speak to the man who owns you.

Thanks...I needed that. Sitting here just giggling and picturing and for some reason I'm hearing good old Scotty from Star Trek saying it.
