Lucylastic -> Car for Women??? (7/16/2012 6:39:31 AM)

Just got this from my bro in law from over the pond, thought I would share

Renault and Ford have joined forces to create the perfect small car for women.

Mixing the Renault 'Clio' and the Ford 'Taurus' they have designed the 'Clitaurus'. It comes in pink, and the average male car thief won't be able to find it - let alone turn it on - even if someone tells him where it is and how to do it.

Rumor has it though, it can be a real bitch to start in the morning! Some have reported that on cold winter mornings, when you really need it, you can't get it to turn over.

New models are initially fun to own, but very costly to maintain, and horribly expensive to get rid of. Used models may initially appear to have curb appeal and a low price, but eventually have an increased appetite for fuel, and the curb weight typically increases with age. Manufacturers are baffled as to how the size of the trunk increases, but say that the paint may just make it LOOK bigger.

This model is not expected to reach collector status. Most owners find it is best to lease one, and replace when it becomes troublesome.

Personally I had visions of a man in a parking lot, shouting out in despair.."I cant find my wifes Clitaurus"
ok I know im ridiculous but WTH :)

What about a car designed by women. What spec would it be?

it would be larger inside than outside to hold all the stuff like a handbag & have a bottomless floor. Iy would be black or very dark to help the driver look slimmer. it would have to have a very silent exhaust that of course smelt of Chanel, it would of course have a large engine but sadly a very small starter motor & of course massive headlights.

I own a womans car. And I love tht fuck out of it. A light butter yellow convertable bug. The best part is, I normally dont have the problem with my b/fs wanting to borrow it all the time.

FR

An ex GF of mine had a habit of keeping a box of tampons on her dashboard. She was convinced by the idea that this would make her car 'repellently feminine' in the eyes of the usual car thief: a teenaged boy. The car never did get stolen, though I thought that this might have had something to do with the fact that it was an old, manky dark brown mini van and possibly the last car that *anyone* would want to nick.
