moonbitch -> HELP! NEW to domming (7/17/2012 2:46:15 PM)

Normally in my sex life I had always been a total sub. Nothing I love more than being completely controlled. Recently I joined a website where there is a lot of online domme requests. I need help. Anything, really. Any sort of pointers on how to initiate things, how to not give too much right away, tips of any kind would be amazing!!

Lockit -> RE: HELP! NEW to domming (7/17/2012 2:48:52 PM)

Welcome to the forum. Let me try to understand this... because there are demands for domina's, you want to be one that fills the needs of these submissives, so that they get what they want? Just what are you attempting to do or to do to us domina's?

xLaChienne -> RE: HELP! NEW to domming (7/17/2012 2:54:38 PM)

Your questions aren't very clear.

Are you wanting to try on line domination? In a chat room? On a website? For profit? In person? What?

Why?

Are you wanting to explore a new facet of your personality?

Role play for kicks?

Thinking to make a fast buck?

What is your motivation?

Always get credit card or cash up front

moonbitch -> RE: HELP! NEW to domming (7/17/2012 3:45:19 PM)

Wow, not the kind of responses I was expecting. Sort of rude in response. But I guess I'll try and make it a little more clear.
For online, for profit, and to explore a different facet. My question basically TIPS. Tips/pointers. That's really all I'm trying to get at.

OsideGirl -> RE: HELP! NEW to domming (7/17/2012 3:48:29 PM)

So, basically you're looking for everyone else to do your job for you rather than reading and doing research.

Lockit -> RE: HELP! NEW to domming (7/17/2012 3:50:15 PM)

A lot of the above wasn't directed to you.

However, my question may have seemed rude. I see nothing wrong with for profit, however, I do think of the backlash this has. Men think that women are there to supply for their kinky pleasure even at a cost and they tend to try to treat other lifestyle domina's in the same manner. As if we are here to serve their needs. Back in a role that some women have struggled for many decades to stop.

Someone will have to advise you... as I don't service men.

xLaChienne -> RE: HELP! NEW to domming (7/17/2012 3:50:31 PM)

I got nothing for you.

There are thousands of findomme sites around with tips and such. You might check one of those out.

moonbitch -> RE: HELP! NEW to domming (7/17/2012 3:56:41 PM)

Well, not at all looking for anyone else to do my job. I've been looking for days on end online researching and things, I just don't feel as though I've found the proper literature.

I was obviously mistaken. I read "ask a mistress" and figured this was a thread for this sort of thing I thought I'd get a little bit of help and maybe a little more welcoming responses than I did. I was wrong, I will find no help here. Sorry to bother you all.

Translation: I've decided to start a business, but have no idea what I'm doing. So rather than reading the wealth of information available, I'll just ask for someone else to give me the fast answers.

Lockit -> RE: HELP! NEW to domming (7/17/2012 4:00:05 PM)

Oh bull shit. I just googled and found many pages on it. You didn't look very hard. You wanted an easy route because you didn't look anything up. Or were you doing it the hard way?

moonbitch -> RE: HELP! NEW to domming (7/17/2012 4:03:45 PM)

I really don't want to argue with a bunch of strangers. Thanks for the help, guys!

JanahX -> RE: HELP! NEW to domming (7/17/2012 4:05:54 PM)

Who cares what you want - there is something much more serious going on here. KEVIN IS BACK. HOLY SHIT FUCK.
Never mind - He got nuked.

Moonbitch,

I honestly do think you should just go away, now, before you get a storm coming down on your head. That's the politest thing I can say to you, seriously.

Exactly. The Ask A Mistress forum has hundreds of pages full of information.....including how posters respond when someone isn't willing to do their own work and asks for quick answers so they can make money. If she had actually bothered to read this forum, she would have found a wealth of information.

OP, I'm surprised that you expected a positive reaction to this.

We get constant complaints on this sites about dommes who are just out to make a quick buck and aren't actually interested in being dominant at all. They give the rest of the female dominants a bad name. Real pros work hard for their money and have skills that are worth paying for. People doing what you propose give them a bad name, and result in a billion whiny threads here from subs.

In addition to that, if you expect people to pay for your services, they expect you to be particularly skilled in exchange. If I paid someone for a haircut, and it turned out that the hairdresser had just gone on a message board and said 'please tell me how to cut hair' instead of spending time learning and training and practicing, I'd be pretty pissed. If you are selling a service you owe it to your customers to know what you are doing. Yes even if it is 'only' online domination.

You see why it offends both subs and dommes when you come on here and say 'I'm not dominant, I know nothing about it, please tell me how to do it so people will give me money'?

Anyway, I don't imagine you will find many people will give you money. There is an abundance of people out there who are willing to take their money without having anything of value to offer in return. It's the people who actually know what they are doing who are in short supply.

PS. I've decided to become a personal trainer. I'm not very fit and don't like exercise, but I've read an e-how article so I'm sure I can boss you about until you lose weight. Anyone want to sign up?
