If you really did come on the boards, admit you're new, and ask for advice then you would get that with very little comments that are extraneous. However if you come on, claim to want advice, and then throw a fit when you're told that what you want to do is not advisable, at that point you get what you deserve. If you want advice, ask for it. If you want sympathy for your poor decisions, you will get that once. After that you will be told that when you repeatedly do something that never gets a good response, it is your responsibility not to keep doing it but to change what you do. If you come on and state that you are ranting, you will get support in blowing off steam. If you continue to rant about a situation you can change, you'll get reminded that you are responsible for your own choices. In other words, you reap what you sow.
