LONDON — Mitt Romney would do a better job than President Obama of highlighting the Anglo-Saxon relationship between the U.S. and Britain, according to the London Telegraph’s interview with two Romney advisers who declined to give their name for the story.

“We are part of an Anglo-Saxon heritage, and he [Romney] feels that the special relationship is special,” an adviser told the British paper. “The White House didn’t fully appreciate the shared history we have.”

One adviser also told the paper, “Obama is a left-winger. He doesn’t value the NATO alliance as much. He’s very comfortable with American decline and the traditional alliances don’t mean as much to him. He wouldn’t like singing ‘Land of Hope and Glory.’”

If you strip the stupidity and racism from the premise (and it's bad enough that we have anonymously funded PACS, and now we have advisors that won't give their names), then the question is, which regions of the world matter? Romney, just like when he spoke of the Soviet Union in Cold War terms, seems to be a few decades behind on foreign policy. I would submit that Germany and France are actually more relevant to Europe than Britain, and that Asia is more important to us economically and the Middle East is more important to us in terms of fighting terrorism, than Europe. Should Romney get elected, he'll have a steep learning curve for foreign policy. It surprises me that someone who served a two year mission in France (admittedly, sixty years ago) would not have a better grasp on international affairs.

SEAL Team 6 is made up of only drones and not....ass kicking, damn professional Navy SEALS? Cus there the ones that took down Osama bin Laden after President Obama gave the order. You really do not understand the nature of drone aircraft nor their usage in the US Military nor the southern border of America.

Last I checked, President Obama didnt give the order to invade Iraq and have 100,000 civilians 'put to the sword' as a result of being a 'Cowboy Diplomat'.

Romney would have a steep learning curve in foreign policy? lol You mean as opposed to Obama's ' vast experience" as a "community organizer"? ROFLMAO When its conveinent for the argument, Romney is said to be a master of setting up factories and jobs overseas. Which would mean navigating government red tape, rules, bribes, etc. Then when its suits the argument, Romney is said to be clueless about how foreign governments work.

Very rich businessmen hobnob with the real powerbrokers in any government and know how it really works. (One reason the're rich) You can bet your ass Warren Buffet, Bill
Gates, etc. don't deal with low level state people if they want something.

The second, Bush, Jr. ushered in the Great Recession.

Its one thing when you have alot of money and dont have to be accountible or responsible for much as a busienss man. Its quite different when your a President of the United States of America. As the actions and words of a President can and do affect industries directly and indirectly (sometimes even over night). If the President got drunk and blurted out some 'company secrets', would that be bad for the nation? Oh Hell ya! If Mr. Romney, as a business man blurted out some company secrets, would that be bad for the nation? Not really. You fail to understand the differences between being a business man, and elected office.

Mr. Romney is not clueless, he's just not honest or trustworthy.

As funny as it might sound, both men have dealt with "...low level state people...." on an assortment of things. Sure, they could behave like assholes if they wanted to, but they possess a bit of intelligence and wisdom to know it would come to bite them in the ass later. Either indirectly or directly for their respected companies and organizations. How you treat the lowest of person's in your company speaks far and wide the caliber of character you have in yourself. (and these are even more reasons why they are rich).

An anonymous, low-level staffer in some British government agency gave that quote to a newspaper without any verification or authorization, and the Obama media-spin team ran with it. Since that "news" broke, Romney has denied saying anything of the sort, and the anonymous staffer is nowhere to be found.

Dumb fucks, indeed. Obama and his whole team.
